It’s holding up pretty good, the rubber inside is a little worn but it’s still holding
Did you get the angled spacer from 5/16 to 1/2?
I don’t remember if I’m being honest but I probably got the half
The cracking is actually acceptable according to many mechanics manuals unless there are missing segments than it is OK. I changed mine anyways.
I’ve heard ppl say the spacer on the rev up is a loss in power? Anyone else hear this? I’ve heard unless you are adding the mrev2 with it it’s useless… I have a spacer… do I just not put it on?? Getting dyno tuned for bolt ons soon.. so I Wana make the best of it
That I’m not sure about tbh, I know for a fact I’ve felt a significant difference having it on my car, I would imagine that the rev up has the same plenum design then it should have the same effect
@@king-wx4no research shows that on a rev up.. with just the spacer you do gain in torque but lose overall horsepower… I’m sure you feel the torque but I’m betting top end you are losing power. I’ve spent the day pulling stuff apart and im in process of porting the lower intake manifold and the lower plenum ( basically recreating the mrev2) with this and my mods ( test pipes, tb spacer, nismo exhaust, and cold air intake) im hoping to see gains of 30-40 horsepower… hoping for 280-300 to the wheels. Dyno on thr 30th

@@alexiscarballo2559 it's great, I notice a difference in the throttle response and the top end. Easy install even if you're not hella into working on cars and for the price it's a no brainer!

@@alexiscarballo2559 all I have is the plenum spacer, a magnaflow high flow exhaust, a tune, and really good suspension and I keep up with HRs and 370Zs in the straights and out run em in the mountain roads

Copped one off amazon for my 05 g35 sedan shifts pretty clean its not to wobbly it feels firm when shifting and gripping it (no homo) overall i give it a 7/10
glad to know it works on an 05 sedan too. was a little confused on how it would with the weird leather blanket around the shifter.

imagine what it feels like on a manual
I just bought it for my manual as it was advertised to work for manual cars. Doesn't even fit, and it springs up and down, so ev ery time you shift it makes an annoying clunk noise.
Automatic should have gotten manual

these look great, just got mine for my g35 coupe, same color as yours, only problem was i need to get different bulbs for the fogs compared to my factory!!

Wait so aren’t the bolts around the side of the manifold all the same ones? I thought if you mixed up the 6 in the middle that’s when you have a problem

I dont know of any type of spacer for the g37, I know they have aftermarket intakes that increase performance but that's about all I know

It's just to properly seat the plenum evenly that's all, I'm pretty sure you can just tighten it down randomly but I'm not sure and I wouldn't reccomend it, and thank you

No, you cant just push the whole assembly down to shift it.
So I am going to buy my spacer this weekend. And do the install on my 06 FX35. Cant lie... Im nervous about it but your video seems like the job is straight fwd. So to be clear do i need to use any gasket sealer? Or can I just bolt everything on and torque to specs? I also have a bullydog GT tuner to install as well.
Just do torque specs, my spacers haven't given up on me so far lol

@@velox731 I noticed my gains on the top end... definitely breathes better and has more pep on the hwy. Gas mileage improved as well.

How many hours did it take you?
Took me 4 or 5 hours to do the driver side the first time, the passenger side had the fuel regulator in the way so I didn't do it probably like a 6 hour job total doing it your first time
