NEVER EVER install DLLs or EXE from third party websites. Unless you really want a virus or spyware or a trojan or your files encrypted by a ransomware bot. Always use official downloads, in this case Microsoft website for Visual Studio redist.

Hi, I am having an issue with the Samsung Dex PC application on windows 11 where it has been saying mfc140u.dll file cannot be found. I tried your steps and also uninstalled the Dex app and restarted the PC but the error remains the same. Not sure what is next to be done. Many thanks
