My buddy used a piece of steel channel with a bunch of holes in it across the top of his kayak and he put boat fenders that inflate for the outriggers. It's working for now but your design looks better. I am thinking about adding some smaller ones to my yak.
@comfortablynumb9342 idk your size, but I'm around 200 lbs, and I wouldn't drop below 4" for the outriggers. I do want to try them related to the front!
@@MakingNoise45 I'm 150 lbs so it shouldn't take much.
Thats a great idea dude..
@@DanFeely I can tell you there's nothing on the market that universal.
Nice that everything is adjustable.
@MikeTellsIt I didn't know what would work, and being able to adapt is key in my eyes.
How do you like the 10 speed transmission? Are you going to put an Oil Catch Can as well? Hope you do a video, just found your channel. Like your content....
@samuelrgonzales111 it's a 5.0 that's a v8 so no need for a catch can. I like the 10 speed I'm avarging 20 mpg! That's not even running eco mode. Thanks for liking and following 😀 👍
That sounds awesome!! I have the ‘23 xlt with the 3.5 ecoboost. Would this setup work for me?
@briray318 I don't think so. I had a 16 3.5 EcoBoost. I put a magnaflow cat back on it, and it sounded horrible. At an idle, it sounded like a race car, but as soon as you got into the gas, it turned into a rice burner. I took it off and just did a resonator delete. It sounded a little better. It's hard to make a v6 sound good fyi. That's the reason I bought a 5.0 lol
@@MakingNoise45 thanks for the info

I hope you just got a lemon.
Idk the customer service is horrible. I had to jump through crazy hoops. My battery doesn't read 54v like it should, and they still told me it was good. That's the most expensive part of the bike and I'm afraid to buy a new one in case it's junk as well.
@@MakingNoise45 I wish I had seen this third review before ordering mine! Good info, by the way.
Deluxe or not? I’m just curious about the electric power steering the deluxe comes with. Idk if it’s worth the extra $1k
No, it's not. I thought the deluxe was $2500.00 more? An by spending that extra money all you get is power steering, aluminum rims, and I think paddle shifters. Now, I would really like the ability to shift.
Can you convert a 2024 pioneer 700, to a 700-4, if you buy the stuff? If I wanted to make mine a 4 seater? Thanks 😎
Not sure but I think you could. It should just be at new bed
What was the original boxing parts orientation?
I did a lowering shackle instead and removed the blocks. 3/4" rake. No alignment needed.
Yep, that's a great plan if you're not looking to do bigger wheels and tires like I am.
Fantastic walk through man! Going to be doing the same soon. Great page. Subscribed.
Thank you for the support!
i got a kemimoto mid panel,a solid rear panel and made some front cage wings on either side of windshield out of a old bug shield off a truck .they make the air swirl past the back and nut loop back in .i can bomb a dusty dirt rd at 30 and dont get any up front

My phone wont let me select pictures here for some reason
Good stuff. The only thing I saw that I would change would be your positive connector on your battery that looks like it's kinked too much and may ark against the side of the frame. Thanks
I got the same truck but with the STX 20” wheels. I installed the same damper and had the exact experience. Good video! I got the Orion Motor Tech one from Amazon for $19.99
Did it help?
Great video/ Question: how much deflection on the CV joint angles was resultant from the leveling, e.g., too high of a lift via shock tower spacers verses a diff drop bracket method can result in a lot of rotation stress on the joint if it's too much. Any ideas on what your CV joint angles are now as I believe in stock form they are with little if any deflection? Kindest regards.
What a difficult question. 1st of all, I have no idea, lol. 2nd, my buddy had me do a 3 inch on his 2014, and his ball joint pulled apart. Lucky for him, he was in his driveway so no major damage. He had to do an aftermarket upper control arm to get within specs. Now I did a 2.5, and I'm maxed out on my camber and cast. So I wouldn't go any more than a 2.5. Anything after that, I'd do a full suspension lift. I really hope that answers your question.
@@MakingNoise45 Excellent info you shared on your experiences with the installs you’ve done. Thank you for the reply.
so a flow master outlaw with no resonators?
Yes
Sounds real nice man, is it a 15430s?
Which bug deflector do you have on the truck?
Aeroskin Hood Protector; Dark Smoke (21-24 F-150, Excluding Raptor & Tremor)

I have that same bike. Only my battery is 21 AMp hours, which gives me about 5 hours of riding time, or 40 MI on full throttle. Right now there is 1950 miles on my bike.
Wow mine sucks
How are the cv axles? Do u need aftermarket upper control arms?
If you did a 3 inch, I would say yes. I did a 3 inch on my buddy's 2014 fx4, and he couldn't get it aligned. So he did the upper control arms, and it worked out great.
What kit did you buy if off of Amazon?
Edwards Oil Change Kit fits... www.amazon.com/dp/B09PX8N4CY?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share
My question is, what battery do you have your winch hooked to? Main battery or secondary battery. The reason I'm asking is the Honda pioneer 700-4 and the Honda pioneer 1000 have an electronic controlled transmission. If the voltage drops too far, it can cause damage to the transmission. I currently have it run to the secondary battery along with the LED lights. But I run the stock headlight and front and rear Led lights. Stock lights are off the main battery LED lights, and the winch is run off the secondary battery. But my LED lights flicker when using the winch for plowing snow. Keep in mind that I haven't yet installed the battery isolator yet, but I do have one I picked up yesterday. I just need to know if I should have the winch hooked to the main or the secondary battery. I did build my own battery box and currently have a deep cycle battery in the tray. Full sized under the drivers seat. In that empty space and turned the oil fill, to the other side similar to the way and that other guy did yours an he did his. Thank you for your video
I have all my accessories hooked to the 2nd battery. I had to pull a tree off the trail using my winch, and I worked it hard, and my lights still dimmed. Now light use I'm fine. I think you'll be happy adding a 2nd battery.
I have another video on the fuse block I installed as well. Make connecting everything much easier
Is the regular good for casual neighborhood driving?
Sure, they are a bit loud, though.
I test drove a pioneer 1000-5 today unknowingly in sport mode. Very rough shifting. Distracting to say the least. 700-4 doesn’t have sport mode. How does the shifting feel? We are shopping 700-4’s currently. No turf mode and BOTH rear wheels driving are probably cause it to push through corners. Is that what you are referring to? Great review! J
Pretty much. The big thing to remember is how much cheaper the pioneer is over other machines and that it's a gear to gear transmission, not a belt drive. Belt drives are much smoother but more maintenance.
@@MakingNoise45 reviews state that a lot of heat comes up through the cabin area. Do you get that? If so how bad is it?
Yes, the cabin gets hot. Any mid engine sxs will have that problem. I did a video on my way to help with that. I put a full glass windshield on mine, and that makes the hot cabin much worse. Hindsight being 20/20 I wish I would have done a split windshield, and the hot cabin wouldn't be a problem. The other problem with not having a split windshield is that it pulls a lot of dust back into the cabin, so a rear windows or screen is needed. Please subscribe and look up my other videos.
@@MakingNoise45 the heat is tolerable or overpowering? I think I’ve decided on the 700-4 and I know I am buying a hot cabin. I guess maybe I should rent one for a weekend and try it out. See if I can tolerate the heat with little kids in the back. I don’t really want to get down a trail and cook my kids.

Do not have to take the axle nut off
Yes you need to slide the axle out of the spindle.
@@MakingNoise45I did not have to and the fox2.0 went in fine with no issues for 30k. You are really good at working on things though.
Well, I guess if you want to stretch your axle, fight, and waste time, then don't undo a simple axle nut. This is the way I think it should be done.... I think you need to find another way to occupy your time instead of being a keyboard warrior.
I''m getting ready to level my '17 XLT soon... so this video is greatly appreciated my friend. Subscribed! 👍🏾 🇺🇸
Thank you
Ehh, you want a split windshield till you have one. Doesn't really help with dust and the split windshield split is right in the wrong position where you look while trail driving.
Correct. The biggest reason I went with a glass windshield is because it doesn't scratch like the polycarbonate does. With the glass, I can use a squeezy and or windshield wiper to clean it on the trail with no worries.
Just curious, can you turn it back ON after it defaults to OFF or is the switch now ineffective and always OFF?
Yes it'll turn back on
Did you leave resonator in?
No, it's a cat back system. That means everything from the catalytic converter back is new and designed for the best flow and sound.
I like it 😍
Thank you
Nice. Wish they had something like this for Cylinder deactivation
Don't you select eco mod and stuff
@@MakingNoise45 yeah they have tow mode and then sport with manual shift but I’m thinking like permanent solution. I believe Livernois can remove it through tune which is my plan
So what mode is cyl deactivation activated in? Is it just eco?

Whats the Lift or Leveling?
2.5 inch level from American Trucks. I have an install video of that as well
My 2023 XLT 3.5 the start stop was removed from factory paid 50 bucks when I built my truck it was pretty sweet. Now that I have gone back to 5.0 on my 23 I have it back. Definitely will be looking into that product. Thanks for the install. keep the videos come. Great work
Well, do thank you 😊
Did leveling impact fuel economy or handling?
No, not at all. When I put bigger tires on, it will, though.
Thanks@@MakingNoise45

Did you use the Motofab 2.5” pucks?
Yes
That truck is sweet and sounds amazing. I love these 2021+ F150's with the 5.0. I love my 08 5.4 3v and despite the bad reputation the 5.4 3v motors have, my truck has been a solid workhorse. One day I will be getting one of these new F-150's with the 5.0 and I hope mine looks and sounds like yours. Very cool man, very nice truck.
Well, thank you very much. I had a 10 with the 5.4 3v. I liked it, but there not even in the same league with the coyote.
