Thank you 🥰
Did you have twins 😮 in there whew….congrats Mama ❤
No, just one baby. I’m 4’8”. He was 8lbs when born 2 weeks later
Make up and accessories are popping 😊. Thanks for the info
Thank you! ☺️ Absolutely 💯
So encouraging
I’m glad you found it encouraging! Thank you for watching ❤️
Hi. I’m a mom of 3. Working full time as a nurse. I’m starting my FNP in January. I enjoyed hearing your story. Please consider giving us an update! ❤
Congratulations to you! I will give an update. Thank you for watching ❤️
You gained a subscriber after i stumbled across this!!🎉 So True!
🤗 Thank you for being here ❤️
Congratulations,I am super happy for you.Juggling family and school wow God did it for you.Thank God.
Praise God! Yes, He definitely saw me through. Thank you ☺️
Thank you for this ! You’re a beautiful inspiration! From a fellow ER Nurse who is now planning on obtaining her NP
Absolutely! Thank you for watching ❤️ Cmon future NP! You got this 💪🏽
Thanks for this information! I’m a RN, and most of the people I’ve spoken to said only doctors are allowed to deliver babies in the hospital, CNMs are only allowed to monitor labour.
Absolutely. Maybe it depends on your facility. Certified Nurse Midwives can definitely deliver babies 👶
For the program is it similar to the nursing program where you have to pass each exam with a certain percentage?
Great question! Pretty much because no more than 2 Cs were allowed in the program.
@@Dr.Aisha_FNP oh wow! Good to know lol. Is it also lot of exams? Thank you for getting back to me!!
Congratulations beautiful You are truly blessed ❤
Thank you ❤️ I definitely am! All Glory to God.
They look beautiful, how do you feel about the “noise”? Do you still wear them?
Thank you! Yes, I still wear them. The noise isn’t that bad since the hospital isn’t a particularly quiet place. Many times I wear navy blue scrubs with my ombre pink scrub jacket and pink shoes… I get so many compliments 🥰
Great video
Thank you! ☺️
GO GIRL!! GET IT!! YOU'RE DOING GREAT!!
Thank you!☺️
Hello! I'm researching LPN programs in MA. When applying for a job, will employers "discriminate" against community college vs universities? Any advice will be GREATLY appreciated!!!!
Hey! In my experience employers usually don’t care where you got your degree from, unless they’re a magnet facility. As long as you have an unencumbered license. I don’t know of any LPN programs offered at a university. Those programs are usually offered at technical schools and community colleges.
Thanks for the gift idea for preceptors 🎉🎉🎉
Absolutely! Thank you for watching ❤️
Wow, just stumbled upon your channel and I'm a new subscriber here! I've been a LPN for 5 years and am currently in school working towards my ADN. Your journey of completing 4 years for a DNP is truly inspiring-it doesn't seem long at all. Thank you for sharing your content and experiences; it's incredibly helpful!
Absolutely! Thank you for being here, watching and subscribing! Congratulations on your journey!! You got this 💪🏽
Congratulations Dr. Aisha on your outstanding achievement and two bundles of joy! I’m currently starting my third semester of the FNP program and my final stop will be my DNP!!
Thank you ☺️ All Glory to God! Congratulations to you! You got this 💪🏽
hello! I just wanted to ask what was your first bachelor’s degree?
Hello, it is a Bachelor of Science in Healthcare Studies
Hey nurse I have a question I wanted to know how long is the mastersin nurse practitioner gerontology program is for how soon can you finish because it says it’s for two years ideally and you cannot finish before two years it is a guided program but not accelerated can you elaborate. On the website it is confusing although it’s not a flex program it is guided, but it will not let you complete it early hmmm but it will give you the option to slide the scale to half of a year, which is less than six months.
It depends on the program. But usually a Masters takes between 2-3 years after a BSN
Can someone tell me the steps after I get my BSN in RN ?? I want to do the Capella PhD Physiology in psychology but I didn’t know what order or steps it goes in as far as the Flex program or if I needed my Doctrine NP first , like what’s the order is it even necessary if I am doing general psychology in Nursing ? Do i absolutely need to do the DNP Program? Helllp So far I went LPN certificate LPN-RN Associates RN- BSN
I’m confused by what you want to get your graduate degree in. It may benefit you to speak with an advisor at the school you’re seeking to attend. You can always click the link in my bio for a 1:1 coaching session or beacons.ai/dr.aisha.fnp
Thank youuuu❤🎉
You are so welcome! Thank you for watching ❤️
I love your journey. Thank you for making this very informative video. Just exactly what I’m planning to do. Funny how I was just thinking about where I could squeeze in having a baby, should I just postpone it after or not but here you are. On the other hand, I don’t wanna do clinicals or face patients anymore, so I’m curious if you have any idea about the bsn-dnp clinical executive/leader program? Also, I had my bsn from the Philippines which is also one thing I need to know more since most programs require an accredited bsn school.mmmh
Hi Nursegermz! Thank you for watching. I don’t know much about the Clinical Executive Leader program but if you are working in the US, collaborate with your unit manager and their colleagues to help you with clinical and potential job placement. Best wishes on your journey 🎉
i am an LVN in california but i am a regional nurse and i make $145,000.00. just to motivate other LVNs. you can easily to over $100,000. even tho cali has the highest taxes and cost of living. my house with swimming pool was $600,000 (monthtly mortgage is $3,000) and my tesla (car payment is $600). not to brag but to motivate. i still have money leftover as well for my personal needs and traveling. do not think $80,000.00 is the max you can make as an LVN. manager roles makes more then that as LVNs.
Thank you for sharing! People definitely sleep on the LVN/LPN role and earning potential!
@@Dr.Aisha_FNP for sure. LVN is a great choice. i have a lot of LVN friends who makes over 6 figs too. you control how much money your making.
@@Dr.Aisha_FNP also there a youtuber i saw that went from being an LVN directly to surgeon. he has over 300K subscribers. you can youtube him.
I make 175k as a home health iv LPN in Florida. Well worth it
I.have a degree in Christian counseling and i have worked in hospital as a health care giver, can i really go for this programme,my dream is becoming a nurse
You absolutely can go for this program if you have a Bachelors in Christian counseling. Just make sure you have all the prerequisites and requirements met for the program(s) you apply to. Best wishes!
Which school did you attain your DNP from ?
Hi @temwanimwale6794 Nebraska Methodist College
Hi where is the school you attended.
New subscriber I will be starting my Journey soon I have a BSN, MBA Healthcare Management and plan to do the DNP for Psych Nurse Practitioner glad I found your channel every journey is unique but congratulations 🍾🥂📜🎓
Thank you and thank you for subscribing ❤️ Wow, you are already so accomplished! Best wishes on your journey!
Your awesome I felt the part you said you got this 😊 would love for you be my mentor for nursing
Thank you! I would love to mentor you. Stay tuned for mentoring details. You got this 💪🏽
Also what is preceptors. And is the pay good for dnp. Also how much more school would it have been for a crna
A preceptor is a clinical teacher. At each clinical site, you shadow and learn from someone who is already in the role you’re aspiring/learning to become. The pay is good for a FNP but this depends on your geographic location. Those with a DNP working as a nurse practitioner get the same pay as those with a MSN. More pay for a DNP comes into play when moving up the corporate ladder (e.g. Director, VP, CNO). All CRNA programs are now DNP programs, no less than 3 years of full time study. I hope this helped. Thank you for watching.
Thanku sooo much
Hey what size did you get?
I have small top & jacket with medium pants
Thank youuu❤
Hello Dr Aisha…. Please,I am an international Nurse with BSN (UK). Can I be accepted for MSN or DNP program in the US. What are my chances ? I look forward to hearing from you
Let me do some research and make a video about this.
@@Dr.Aisha_FNP This will be much appreciated. Thank you
Yes you can. There are some schools that will admit you either on conditional or unconditional admission. If you want to pursue straight DNP, check out Post-BSN to DNP degrees. If you want the MSN program, you can also get that.
Awwww ......thank you so much Dr Aisha.
Is NP too saturated?
I think it depends on your geographic location and specialty. Some areas may be. I had no issue landing a job after school, but I utilized my network.
Awww hi to the cute baby
Thank you 🥰
Thanks for the share. It helped. ❤
Absolutely! I’m glad it helped! Thank you for watching 🫶🏽
Great tips 💪🏆🎉🎊 New subscriber here Congratulations on all your accomplishments continue being a light for us all ❤👑🏆💐💐💐💐

Will do, thank you.
i can buy you some hearing aids if you want?
Thanks, for the encouraging words and the advice. I’m starting a DEMSN program in January and I’m trying to mentally prepare for my upcoming academic journey. Your video calms my nerves and helps me battle self doubt.
Absolutely! I’m glad you found the video helpful! It will be challenging but worth it! Believe in yourself, you got this!!
🤭🤭🤭😍
Mine is getting into the LVN program I gave up in my intro to anatomy and physiology. Once I got my first test back from my lab and lecture test. I’m like God maybe I’m not smart enough to be a nurse. Well I am taking the class next year in the spring 2024 I don’t want to give up at all. I know getting into nursing school has been a challenge for me. I want to be an LVN within 5 years. So I know I need to pass anatomy and physiology and not drop the course at all.
You are smart enough and can do it!! Believe in yourself, you got this!
Hello 😊 how long does it take to go from AVSN to RN? Thank you so much in advance ❤
Hello Valencia and thank you for your question. I think you mean ABSN. ABSN is an acronym for Accelerated Bachelor of Science in Nursing. This is an RN program, meaning when you graduate you’ll be able to take the NCLEX-RN, the board exam that gives you the license to practice as a RN. I hope this helps!
@@Dr.Aisha_FNP thank you so much for your reply 😊😊 my community college offers an associate degree in vocational nursing. I’m not sure what the acronym is. I thought it was AVSN lol.
Congratulations. Please how easy was it to yet into nursing program at TTU. I am applying soon. Thanks
Thank you! Well, I got accepted the first time I applied but I had to move 2.5 hrs away.
Thanks a lot sis you really inspired me with your journey and realness. Congratulations and God bless you and your household.🙏🏼💐🎉
Praise God! Thank you for being here and watching!
Congratulations
Thank you! Thank you for watching!
