Our house is right behind. We had to get out fast. I never want to be that close to a fire again. It is only the awesome firefighters that saved not only our home, but the entire neighborhood. THANK YOU

This could have been worse albeit two homes burn to the ground, but all this wind the Firemen were able to contain it. True heroes in my opinion. Could have started something we all fear with all that the fall has rendered thus far. And am in Crestline and never knew this was happening...dang

Great footage of them setting backfires! I don't see too many fire videos with the crews setting the backfires; its interesting to see the "toys" they use for setting these fires so much new tech I've never seen before. Keep up the great work and above all else be smart and safe.

This is heartbreaking. I lived the majority of my life in the San Bernardino mountains and will always consider it my HOME. My family and I know those mountains like the backs of our hands, and my heart is crushed that it is on fire. I know this may sound extremely harsh, but I hope the arson who started this fire receives the same fate as my mountains. Knowing all the trees and animals that are suffering just smashes my heart. I will always love those mountains, and I am praying very hard that my hometown stays safe from the fire.. Sending my deepest love and many prayers to everyone involved in fighting this fire.❤🙏

Why are they starting a fire when it should be containing it I don't get this at all

This is so destructive to see them start fires where wildlife live they already burned thousands of acres in Big Bear controlled burns now miles and miles from the line fire and now the guys who are supposed to stop fires and starting them burning wildlife habitat clearly we are living in the last days this is unbelievably destructive and corrupt to our natural environment. The wildlife habitat matters and the birds matter. Selfishness to our environment don't you know nothing can survive fire not an insect nothing. Many environmental organizations are absolutely against these controlled fires for specific reasons you are willingly burning up nature every insect everything. When will you stop these controlled burns to watch you set fires is destructive natural and wildlife habitat. Why don't you get the fire under control so you don't have to keep going back to it. Destructive against nature. Unbelievably selfish to wildlife and natural habitat unbelievable! God is watching you set his nature on fire. I am utterly shocked controlled burns are destructive bees insects burning everything up! We are depending on you guys to not be corrupt against nature and look at what you are doing. Outrageous!
