One camera, one lens around NYC | Canon R5C [8K RAW]
This video is a bit out of the norm for what I like to do in this channel, but I hope to show you the variety of angles you can get using a 24-70mm zoom lens while traveling in a dynamic, always-on place like Manhattan. I shot 90% of this handheld, switching between capturing full 8K RAW and Super35 5.9K RAW. Audio was all captured on the DJI wireless mic system, which I stick onto various metal surfaces to get the mic closer to the audio source.
I've been putting a lot of thought into minimizing the amount of gear I carry with me on trips, so as to focus that energy into the creative aspect of my travel video work. If you have any questions on making travel videos, feel free to leave a comment and I will give you my two cents.

Follow-up video to the previously published walk. Fushimi Inari-taisha is famous for its consecutive torii gates, donated by Japanese businesses in hopes of good fortunes. This place reminds me of Portland Oregon, but a lot cleaner.
My hometown--hardly only 'blue color,' as you say; I was a boy here in the 1950s.
You're likely right - just my first impression. Worth another drive up on a warmer day to know the place and its people better.
Actually, the stately homes and best neighborhood sare on the north end of town, also near City Park, which is award-winning for its design. @@walkwithme_

Hi! I don't live in the city, but close enough that I'm there regularly. I feel like most of D.C. is pretty safe, especially the areas surrounding gov't buildings and National Mall.

Very abundant greens indeed. For a short time I thought those houses were abandoned. It is a wonderful neighborhood for real. Quiet, clean and peaceful. A nice place for a very long walk especially that there's so many trees to offer shade when it's hot.
Certainly not abandoned! According to Redfin, the average price of houses in this neighborhood is 1.55M. It really is a nice place to walk through; In fact, a lot of the DC area is!
