    Thank you for your video I'm going to try and move my right rear out, i am a large racer and my kart pushes in, middle and out it's just miserable to drive and I'm trying everything with the front end and tire pressures but never did anything with the rear spacing, both rear tires are in as far as they can go so again thank you for your video and i will definitely start with the right rear

    So laying your right front down will help your kart turn if your pushing? Or does it mean i got to much left rear grip?or tires to soft all together? Or could it be im running to low air pressures? Where would you adjust first,but will laying the right front down help some is what im really asking?😳 Please chime in bro,🥺

    If the ratio is the same on the mini gears vs standard gears what causes the difference in acceleration curve?

    • @coreymarsh4649
      @coreymarsh4649 3 місяці тому

      Im assuming weight

    • @kartspeedsolutions
      @kartspeedsolutions 3 місяці тому

      Hi John, with the ratio the same generally the max RPM will be relatively the same (usually within 100rpm) . The difference in the acceleration curve is due to gear size, chain momentum, and rotational weight. If you have a moment, go check out our video on gearing combinations, I think you’ll find it interesting.😁

    A inertia Dyno requires software, laptop, wiring, sensors in order to see the data *in the form of pounds*** A hydraulic Dyno requires oil and a gauge to see the data *in the form of pressure*** So when compared to dynos, why wouldn't a racer spend $100 on a tire pressure monitor system (tpms) that records the spike in pressure sending it Bluetooth to your phone app in a graph from just like the setup in this video? Takes only couple minutes to install and you can use on race day. You would be seeing your loads exactly as you see them in the video, only it will be in the form of pressure

    How do you essentially pick what RPM you want your motor to turn? I run a BSP sealed motor. The saying here is around 5800 rpm. We are on a big 1/4 mile asphalt with sweeping turns.

    • @jacksmith664
      @jacksmith664 4 місяці тому

      We talk to our engine maker and he'll give us a range depending on the type of engine then we try and adjust our gear so that the rpm's fall into that range.

    • @shall209
      @shall209 4 місяці тому

      Or, in your case, "they say" 5800. Try gearing for 5600, 5700, 5800, 5900, and let the stopwatch tell you which is quicker.

    z baar flexes more. its longer! bend a 24" stick vs a 6" stick what flexes more?

    • @kartspeedsolutions
      @kartspeedsolutions 5 місяців тому

      Hi Bondar33, I would agree if both were straight. However, the key in this situation is the bends which add the rigidity to the Z-Bar.
