Now I know I'm still early in in my in my journey I got to say with my welcome among Brothers and fellows every time I step into my Lodge I feel like I can be myself truly and I feel like I can become much better then I am now I'll come next month officially become Master Mason and I got to say that both exciting and overwhelming I've been very much appreciative for those you've been helping me along my path and my journey
Hello! you can use the Victoriacolumbia.ca website as a starting point for your Masonic Journey. Lots of information about what is involved and how to reach-out further. Many Lodges throughout our Jurisdiction (British Columbia) and always optimal to find a Lodge near to where you live!
It's been said; "A year from today you will be the same person, except for the books that you read and the people you meet." At a Masonic Lodge I meet people I could otherwise never know. Said in another way; " Show me your five closest friends, and I'll show you your life". In a Masonic Lodge I'll show you not only my five closest friends, I show you a Lodge full of men whom I would without question give the keys to my home while I was on vacation. Hint: I've done just that. Masonic greetings from Myrtle #108, your Masonic cousin in Washington state.
Sounds to me wery reesonable!!.. iam mostly "lonely wolf" but iam interest history and allways idmayr the order of knits templar!!. So i would join🌞⚔ is it to be one ask one?.. thanks this good doc.🙂!!..
Always awesome to hear from our Brethren from the Isle of the Mother Ship! We are blessed to have such a beautiful hall to meet in, and our greater pleasure to show it off to the world (and of course to educate the world on Freemasonry!). Cheers!
Hello Chatham. Glad you enjoyed their hard effort. It is over five years old now, but message is as good as ever. It shows the interior of our Lodge in Victoria which we are so blessed to have for our use. It was build back in 1875 approximately. Grand girl. Will be there tonight.
must a man be successful (rich/successful) in order to join? I've had ups and downs in life (not evil), failed marriage, business successes and failures, but remain a good father and wear loyalty as my most valued virtue (after god). I've been interested in joining freemasonry for several years, but fear rejection after researching lodges and visible members....all successful. I like the message, I truly feel it in my heart, but am afraid....afraid of not "measuring up". I've had an amazing live, and admire what I read and have studied about freemasonry.....what would be the guidance?
betteryoubetter there are surprisingly few demands placed on prospective men (seekers) to be considered for membership. Being “rich/successful” (whatever that means) is not a requirement, although the ability to adequately provide for yourself and your loved-ones is a consideration. Have a look at the Victoria-Columbia website to have all your questions answered....victoriacolumbia.ca
Thank you for the feedback. I'm going to pursue this (I take very good care of my family and can look after myself). Like I mentioned early, its been like a bee in my head, and I should follow my heart on this.

@Peura Mauriainen If you are a man who prefers to his own company rather than being sociable, you may not enjoy Freemasonry.

Life is full of bumps and nor is it fair for all of us. You are no different. Free Masonry is free of rank or title.
