Did I Just Break the Rules on Harley Demo Day? 😅
Welcome to another exciting episode of "Ride N Reviews," where today, I take the 2024 Harley-Davidson Road Glide Limited for a spin at a Harley demo day! Things started off great - I was cruising along, feeling like the king of the road, when suddenly... well, let’s just say I had an unexpected pit stop to help a fellow rider in need. 😅
After that little roadside adventure, I may or may not have kept the bike a bit longer than I was supposed to. 😬 Let's just say, the fine folks at Harley were looking for their prized ride, and yours truly was out playing the good Samaritan! #Oops
But hey, it’s all part of the experience, and I still managed to gather some solid thoughts about this beast of a touring machine. Spoiler alert: The Road Glide Limited is packed with power, comfort, and style that’ll make any cross-country trip a breeze. In this video, I’ll break down my short-but-sweet test ride and give you all the specs.
Tune in next week for my review of the 2024 Harley Davidson Road Glide Limited, and until then, keep the rubber side down!

      He just didn't have the context I had about the situation. He just sees a random guy coming back with one of their bikes WAY OVER the time limit. So, it doesn't look good on my part. Although I explained what happened and what I did, he told me I was done for the day. Unfortunately, I put him in a tough position to make that call given I didn't call them ahead of time. Oh well, at least the biker I stopped for is okay! 👌

      @TheboiiIsFunny 13 днів тому

      Sue for what?

    • @ShiftNSmiles
      @ShiftNSmiles 13 днів тому

      To help clear up the air, I got kicked out for keeping the bike too long. That’s fair. I didn’t call them to let them know I was helping someone else out which is my fault. If I did, I’d imagine things would have ended out differently. Their impression (without knowing I was helping a fellow stranded biker) was “maybe the bike is stolen/something bad happened?” Which I understand. So I’m not mad, I’m just bummed out is all! But I appreciate you all keeping up with the content and having a conversation with each other.

    • @scaggit
      @scaggit 13 днів тому

      @TheboiiIsFunny again no rule was specified and therefore no rules were broken. So I would sue. Unless there are specified terms (ie time limit) and he didn't call when over, then that's different. But the video looks like dude got booted for helping someone

    • @inflation1139
      @inflation1139 13 днів тому

      @scaggit literally the guy that made this video said he kept the bike too long. These are timed scheduled RIDES , you test different bikes out , so by keeping it too long messes up the schedules for other riders. This isn't hard to comprehend child. Why are you making things up is the bigger problem here.

    • @ShiftNSmiles
      @ShiftNSmiles 22 дні тому

      HMMM...That's a great questions. So I have stock exhausts and I can hear the speaker clearly. When I get to about 60mph (w/o a windshield) then it starts to get distorted because of the wind (inaudible at 80mph). With a windshield, it starts to get distorted around 70mph (inaudible around 90mph). Id imagine, since you have a straight piped Sportster, it will be clear up until maybe 50mph or less because the exhaust is going to overpower the noise of the speaker. At that point, i would much rather listen to the music through my Cardo headset so its a lot clearer. Otherwise you'd have to keep the RPM's low so as not to drown out the sound of the speaker. I hope that answers your question.

    I bought one. Pros: It has plenty of power, the suspension does well off-road, and it handles the twistie well. CONS: There is no electric windshield, backlit controls, or alarm. It only lowers the rear wheel in adaptive mode, and the jiffy stand is a joke. If you're not careful, it will only deploy halfway. The handguards are also a joke; they pop off the grips a little too easily. It's definitely a BA bike and is easy to ride. The cons were not a deal breaker, but I also had another HD for a trade-in.

    The Tracer 9 is not an adventure bike! Do not ride it off-road unless it's a smooth dirt road and I mean a smooth dirt Road! And even having said that unless you have proper tires don't go over 20/30 miles an hour on set dirt road. One only has to look at the location of the exhaust under the bike and also the ground clearance in Fork travel to tell this is not an adventure bike. I would add a correction and disclaimer in this video.
