Your story time has been in the back of my mind since I started working another security gig temporarily! Your story is so relatable. They always have the guys who are retired cops or fireman who come to work to keep busy. I was cracking up about the typing part! It's funny how he ended up quitting the site. Very excited to know how toxic ended up getting canned. 😂

haha! Damn I'm guessing it's a toss up between Securitas or Allied. The larger companies deal with so many officers they forget to even tell you where to go! Not surprised!! lmao The funniest part is when they play a shell game with problematic people and move them to different sites because they are under staffed. It's really weird they wouldn't let the lady come to work, they should know who she is if the officer had worked there for a while! I had a few places where the lead wouldn't want to train because the turn over was high. At one GSOC site I worked at required a lot of training then covid hit. All these mf wanted to work from home on work laptops... Normally there would be 2-3 people watching cameras and a separate parole crew of 6 people on site. You can imagine how stressful it is to watch all the sites on East Coast NA alone while your coworker is at home with a computer constantly freezing with 6 different programs running. I was only there a month and asked the site sup working physical security to give me a tour refresh, my moron coworker got mad and said that I should already know everything and if I didn't I needed to do it on my break or before work. Needless to say, I quit. People in this industry especially people who are grumpy, mean, or competitive for no reason make a job that should be fun miserable.
