Sono un fervente Metallaro, cui da circa 30 anni nutro passione e sudore per la suddetta scena... soprattutto per quel che concerne l'ambito Black e Death Metal. Altra mia passione molto ardita è quella dell'ambito cinematografico, con cui da sempre mi diletto tra fotografia, videoriprese e collezzionismo di memorabilia, cosa che ho anche ampliato nella musica. Porto avanti un discorso cartaceo con una zine che dal 1998 ad oggi ha visto varie testate ma che la più longeva attualmente è quella che porto avanti dal 2006 ad oggi (con definitivo termine in questo anno 2022).
Detengo più di 7.000 titoli, tra musicassette, cds e vinili (di cui prevale il vinile, con quasi 4.000 titoli tra 7", 10" e 12", di cui quest'ultimo prevale). La mia intenzione è quello di dar voce nonché un ricordo, ai concerti che ho visto in passato. Non ho interesse nella monetizzazione, ma solo porre visione e ricordi di un un genere che amo.

MYSTICUM have mark their Industrial Black Metal at the Campus Industry of the Parma town, the city famous for the prosciutto crudo, parmigiano reggiano cheese, monuments and... pussy!
Well, at that show will be partecipate many bands but at last I follow the way of the BUS 666 around the streets of Parma and when I m coming at the location, have just finish to play the Italian STORMCROW.
The French Black Metal band CORPUS DIAVOLIS have made a very intrigant sound (see they after the little intro of my video, first 7 minutes!). Later Them, the Italian Doom Metal act DOOMRAISER and finally MYSTICUM.
MYSTICUM (at the 23,30 pm) because unfortunately CULT OF FIRE not have played (last minute news received says their drummer have smashed their head in the preview night at the end of their show! Sic!).
MYSTICUM have played around 1 hour... first 5 - 7 minutes have start with a long intro, full of obscurity, sound and... idiots who scream 'move up!'.
Spectacular as a fuck! Full of laser lights, some use remember a cold military march, in the back appear a big screen with their video who run during the sound of the band.
In the center of the place many idiots (or one?) launch their water bottles on stage and of course I hope one day these sub-humans received a big fist in their fuckin' face... leaving that, at last the band have made a really great spectacle. Sound was perfect and... well, what need to wrote more?
SEE My video and stop! That is NOT an official video, but a memorial of that show. I hope some of the presents at that gig appreciate my video, as a little memoir of that event...

I totally lost interest in black metal after 1997..now I'm 50+years old and got interest back into some bands i liked back then.... osculum infame is doing well, love it ! One if the few bands that never made black metal a gimmick
Me too...I love metal but I have also 47 years old and much passion was lost because I don't find any interest in nowadays Black Metal scene. I see nowadays scene full of clowns, posers and losers. My most pleasure coming from the old bands and when I see the bands from the past, I re-found my interest and passion....

la differenza è che al Luppolo cè sempre più gente... in Liguria sempre più poser che vengono solo più per curiosità e poi non comprano niente dagli stands. Ai BULLDOZER (che hanno fatto uno show stratosferico) che mancavano da più di 30 anni dalla Liguria, vi erano presenti meno di 250 persone. Detto tutto!

Oi com'è andata ? Un sacco di vecchie date il pubblico ho visto
serata stupenda direi. Gusti sono gusti però il topo per me sono stati loro nei due giorni, soprattutto perchè OVERKILL e DESTRUCTION li rivedi, ma la seconda parte dei DSS sarà difficile. Nel primo giorno direi che il top sono stati MORBID SAINT e DESTRUCTION. Soprattutto per il coinvolgimento. Ma anche le altre bands son state brave. Poi io adoro il vecchio Heavy e mi son piaciuti molto dal vivo gli HAUNT.
Pazzesco pensare come ad un concerto di questa portata ci sia gente che riprende 1 ora e 20 di concerto con il telefonino…😮
