Video Description: Tifa is my main DPS character. High Luck for crits. She closes distances quickly. Just hold square and dodge cancel her uppercut and repeat for efficient high damage. Dolphin Kick all the time. Apply pressure to Odin and deal enough damage so that he doesn’t use Zan1HitKill. Try to use consecutive dolphin kicks to provide ATB boost for other characters. Her priority is to be attacking when the party is generally healthy and to siphon ATB from the other members. Cloud is my healer and support. Equip his Slipstream Saber for the Trade Off ability that replenishes MP with damage taken. Firaga is important for Gilgamesh and Quaga is an all-around strong spell that stops opponents in their tracks and sends them upward. Curaga with Magnify is essential for keeping party members’ health topped off. Ribbon is vital to serve his role as a last resort character and to basically ensure he gets the heals/revive off without being interrupted. My Cloud combo string is: Dodge -> Hold attack for teleport and air attack -> Punisher Mode for strong downward strike -> Operator Mode for strong sweeping slash -> hold attack for wide slash with strong ending damage -> Dodge, rinse and repeat. His priority is to keep his ATB high for healing in a pinch. Barret’s role is a secondary healing support and a Limit Gauge generating machine. Switch to him when your other characters are under heavy pressure to take the enemy agro off of them. He’s a long range character so he’s generally away from the target. The Trade Off ability from his weapon allows him to be a more effective healer since it replenishes MP with damage. Also, the use of his Lifeblood Cannon which deals a ton of damage at the cost of 50% of his health and 2 ATB is his main offensive priority. This 50% loss in health also allows him to accrue Limit gauge for Tifa. After using the ability, switch to Cloud to follow up with an instant heal to ensure he doesn’t die. When holding the attack button with Barret, he will eventually run out of ammo and have to reload. Press Overcharge during this animation to get a free charge: two-in-one action. He piles up ATB quickly for Lifeblood Cannons or heal/revive. My strat is simple and allows me to have a defined role for each character highlighting what I believe is their strengths. Tifa: physical offensive; Cloud: Mix Healer/Magic/Physical; Barret: Support Tank. Good luck!
