The GE’s I will be selling for sure, the m/a-com’s more than likely, the moto stuff maybe in the future, the Panasonic and the i550 are going nowhere
My 11 meter running 1200 watts on low side talks good anywhere. A lot less headache and no paper work needed. I have had my setup in my Blazer for over 30 years no problem. Oh if anything big went down no licenses for all that other crap will mater just learn how to use it is what I would say. Cool video take care.

😂😂😂😂stfu, rednecks will tell you this and spend thousands on gear they dont know how to use effectively when they need and rely on a working instructor to work. 😂😂😂 no training, no network, no idea what they are doing it for even.

Very good demo. I use my 200 for both base and mobile. A shortcut in the Full Function List, you can use the up/down buttons on the top of the mic to advance by groupings/categories of settings. Thanks for sharing. 73. KC3UEE

Very good video. How do you write a memory name?
@@XenagosRadio you can either A; when you are about to add it to the memory by clicking on write, if you press and hold it will go to the name, enter it and then long hold again (my preferred method) or B: after adding the memory if you go to your memory list by holding the V/M button and go to the channel there will be a edit button, click that and then go to TAG

If you got the 390 Plus and cannot get the program to read (i.e. it crashes when pressing Ok as it was for me) run the software for the standard 390. Still allows aes and it actually works, perhaps the files got mixed up?

Got extremely odd bug. After refresh DMR contact database some contacts can't be found by Menu-Contacts-View Contact CSV-Enter number". Radio return "empty". But when I scroll using arrows...IT'S IN!! Any ideas?
No clue, tbh I only programmed DMR once and forgot about doing it.

Great video. I sm having a problem with programming my uv380 now. I absolutely can't get windows to see the radio at all now. I have the same usb cable i originally programmed it with and a second one. Both Tyt labeled and both worked a year ago. I have downloaded drivers and programming software to the point im at my wits end. I can't get my desktop or two separate laptops to recognize its plugged in period. Luckily i have my code plug thats worked for ages already uploaded and working. I just can't update anything on the radio now. Frustrating 😊

Hi there just recently bought this radio and have been confused to programme it … i also just passed my foundation test here in Melbourne Australia so am waiting for my VK3 callsign etc plus radio id …. I also got an email from TYT for the latest firmware update which is 19.26 … no where on the web can you find this … i reached out to them about uploading it to the website which is extrenely slow etc … so if you need this update plus a much later CPS version to what you have … please reach out and i will share .. 73’s and hope to work your station soon .. please help ne program mine … im totally confused when it comes to DMR
I haven’t done a firmware update on mine sense I got it. As far as DMR some channels have some DMR explain videos so that’s all I know, good luck tho.
@@Rockymtprep if you need the latest update shout out to me and will gladly send it to you … from memory i think it was from july this year … got it from TYT company in China … im thinking of notifying Miklor to update their site as theor is yonks old … at least i can help others … dont know why tyt make it so difficult for others after all their website is so slooooiw in accesing …

Opengd77 adds a whole new level to the radio.
I have to comment for anyone else still having problems getting the software to recognize the radio and getting the "Make sure USB cable is not occupied and/or plugged in" (or something like that). After you download the digital driver cut/paste the file into >Program Files (x86) > STMicroelectrics > Software > DfuSe > Driver. Then open Device Manager and look for "Other Devices" where you should see your DMR radio. Right click "DMR Radio" and select "Update Driver" and choose "Browse my computer for drivers" and direct it to "Program Files (x86) > STMicroelectrics > Software > DfuSe > Driver." Due to all these problems, I'm now in a mental asylum but at least my radio connects to the software. (joke)
Like you i was heading to the mental asylum too but because of you all i need now is about two weeks of intensive therapy from a good psychiatrist !! THANK you for that. It's 1:30am and i have it going. 😁

Hi, thanks for the video. I followed the instructions and got as far as trying to read the radio but got "please check whether the USB is occupied or not connected" error. This cable has worked for all my other radios and I can't see any COM port settings in the software. Any ideas? Sorry, this is my first DMR radio...
I don't know if the TYT has to have a certain cable or not, so that or the drivers might be your problem, beyond that I'm out of idea's.
@@Rockymtprep Thanks. I'm about to lose my mind! lol I bought this radio because I couldn't get SDS+ to work with SDRUno to decode DMR, so I said "screw it" and bought the MD-UV380. Worse mistake, I wish I'd never been born. hahaha
@@Rockymtprep My neighbor has a Retevis cable, I'll borrow it from him tomorrow. The RT3S is the same radio so maybe that will do it. If not, I'm putting this radio through a f@cking wall. lol
