Inspired by the old composers writing music for ‘occasions’, Werner Urban developed a musical curiosity that is not limited to the boundaries of one specific sound or genre.
His work, embodied in the Werner Urban Catalog, span many styles and moods and aims to be helpful in all kinds of situations and creative outputs.
For this reason, the catalog is not only a valuable tool for music lovers, but also for music marketeers, video creators and directors and editors working in film, television and radio.
At the start of his 20 year career, Werner wrote music for independent and major labels operating in the sync market, like Liftmusic (UK), Soundiva (IT), AV Music/EMI (NL), Synctracks (UK), Songs To Your Eyes (USA), Sony ATV and Universal.
Nowadays, Werner composes and publishes solely independent and takes custom score and sound design commissions.
