Honestly listening to the material they made after this, I’d say with some minor adjustments to the arrangement in the fast sections and having everyone play along to a click track during recording so everything is in time, this could be great. It’s one thing if things are out of time for a couple of measures, but half the song can be a bit excessive. It’s part of why I have to listen to post RTL Metallica in bursts. Half of master of puppets and ..and justice for all Lars is literally the Russian dragon. And devourment has some legendary early tracks that have blast and tremolo sections that are horrifically out of time like in the opening gravity blasts of choking on bile and the kick drum during the breakdown/slam that’s halfway into shroud of encryption.
