I logged 263 hours in the Antonov An-2 as a PIC in Russia. During 2020, 2021 and 2024 skydiving seasons. I'm going to get my ASES rating in Florida this fall.
On a hot day like today to be able to go up where it's cool and putt around and see the sights would be wonderful.
In my opinion, this is the best light training twin for so many reasons...one of those reason is that I'm lucky enough to own one. :)
the thing about the 204/205/212 series is you can hear that blade slap long before the machine arrives... great catches...
What's not to like about helicopters!!! Great video.. I have subscribed!! 😎👍
I'm currently flying this aircraft based out of Kelowna. Using it for some multi IFR instruction. This particular design from the late 70's is, in my opinion, the best aircraft in it's weight category for training. It's also the safest, with Vmc below 2kts below dirty stall speed. Nice video!
That's a beautiful helicopter. I ❤ love the sound of the engine 🚁😃
Looks so practical! Nice! Thank you!
A seaplane verson of the An-2TP is available, they should send some of these plane to Ketchikan Alaska, it would be great for tourist to fly on.
The polished bits are Aluminum with a AL-CLAD layer on the outside to protect from corrosion👍🏼
What makes you think this is a Hawker 900XP? I'm curious
As to my knowledge on the jets on the floats I don't think the Soviets did that so you one of the kind comment is probably correct. Great video
Not to be rude at all I love you doing things about aviation. But the Soviets made a few an2 s with floats for the far east. They are a very important aircraft for the vast regions of the far east of Russia. The an2 was called the Russland because it was produced in Novosibiersk which is in that vast region. Thought I would try to tell it's history instead of being rude.
Have 50 hours in GA-7s. I'm fact, might have flown this one if it was based at ZBB (Boundary Bay) B.C. back in the early 90s. Not many Cougars in Canada. Stable platform, roomy, and easy to fly after building some time.
😂😂😂
Sadly if the Canadian Government went with an off the shelf military aircraft all ready proven the Canadian tax payers wouldn’t have had to absorb the cost of developing an new variant of the S-92 which cost millions to develop with Sikorsky. With no other country standing in line to purchase the aircraft and absorb the costs of development. Canada has payed an absurd amount of money for 28 aircraft. Canadian born I left this country 20 years ago due to governments wasting tax dollars with their procurement processes. Air Canada customer service…………sucks!
It all comes down to the incompetence of Canadian politicians, they are just cheap and no nothing about the military, there a real disgrace when it comes to the military..
it is called ercoupe
Do all 1930 Fleet Biplanes start this way?
Hi I think you have the wrong header for this one, its a Beech King Air. PS keep up the good work .
The grand caravan looks like a GIS mapping aircraft. Hence the long exhaust stack.
To be swimming *water noises*
я почувствовал запах ромашки
1M for The Soviet air-tractor? I notice that the wings and tail have been worked on. The paint look way newer than the rest of the airplane, I wish you could show us the cockpit, is probably IFR capable with top notch tech in it, There are a few models in Eastern Europe with floats from factory identified as Antonov AN 2 V. You also mention this is kind of an RV but still... $1M is a lot!!!
a new Cirrus is $1m + I would much rather have this!
Recent subscriber; the Antonov AN-2 videos caught my eye and so did this RV-8. I built my own RV-8 and also painted it in a warbird paint scheme. First flight was a year ago; 90 hours so far. Steve Thorne documented the first flight on his channel, I also have many videos on my channel. I like your style; straight up interest and enthusiasm. Looking forward to watching more of your videos.
Never been Russian aircraft.
Whose then?
What is the name of this place and where is it?
Great. Video, monster size plane for sure
That is one beautiful baby!
Before 1974 planes in Canada were registered as CF-xxx. Now it's C-Fxxx or C-Gxxx, plus C-Ixxx for ultralights.
Born in '52, I spent a lot of time at the airports as my parents owned and both flew a C-140. There were always a couple of Navions around then. I loved the looks and its sliding canopy. Made it look like a civilian P-51.
Lance Air. Named after the creator Lance Neubier
Nice video! Looks like Kal-Tire’s private jet in Vernon, I’ve seen it several times now, sharp looking aircraft.
A friend had one I was helping him on, and went to Romania to get training in them. Fantastic plane. Way overbuilt, and way underrated. We flew it at 40 mph, fully controllable too! Thirsty, but experimental means you can perform your own maintenance. I will just follow the Polish manuals. Most after 1960 were built in Melic, Poland.
This one seems to be Canadian, not russian.
Very good video! Keep learning you’re doing fine!
Thanks for the tour some interesting aircraft.
I've got a 1948 model; by then they were being manufactured by Ryan but still using mil spec parts from North American. The Navion is the best flying, most comfortable 4 seater ever, with a great view in all directions from that canopy.
I love Skymasters, I fly a 1969 T337D. People that hate them don't know them. Thanks for the video.
Hi The main reason for the airport being very clean is because rubbish and aircraft engines don't mix. FOD foreign object damage is where even small bits of rubbish can be drawn into the engine and cause expensive repairs and can also have fatal consequences.
Scottish viewer here, nice to have an up close and personal look at these aircraft old and new thanks.
Great single pilot aircraft to flying but it better to have a crew of two
Thanks for educating me on such a cool airplane. Nice to see so many people keeping them alive
A Very Nice Baby Beech/Mouse!
I enjoyed our chat. People have always told me how nice WHG sounds. Now I know what they're talking about. 😀
That Navion has been there for a while, its usually hangared. Has the 185 engine. Love Navions!
Thanks for the comment!!! It’s incredible to get to experience such an amazing peace of history
Congrats on the channel growth! I am a manager and pilot for Carson Air. Perhaps we can set up a tour of our aircraft sometime!
That would be absolutely amazing!!! Thank you so much
@@atptv4444 I'll message you sometime soon to set something up
@@JeremySam I will be patiently waiting
really beautiful aircraft
The helicopter is a BO-105
operated by Dam helicopters... not many 105s on high skids around...
