So, what I've concluded: 01. Palmtree Panic: US Version is superior and more fitting for the environment. JP version is too much of a party with it's "yeahs". 02. Collision Chaos: The US version is infinitely superior in every way. 03. Tidal Tempest: Can't go wrong with either version. Both are great! 04. Quartz Quadrant: The JP OST is good, but I still prefer the muscular guitar riffs of the US version. 05. Wacky Workbench: I honestly don't feel particularly strongly towards either version, but if I had to choose, leaning towards the US version. 06. Stardust Speedway: Definitely prefer the softer, more ambient US music to the party JP track with rap. 07. Metallica Madness: Once again, the US track fits the stage much better over the party rap of the JP OST, encompassing more of a dystopian vibe that fits the mechanical reign of Dr. Robotnik! Conclusion: That's 6 in favor of the US version, with only 1 single tie in JP's favor. At least for the Present versions of the stages, the US OST is by far my favorite version!
