He says he got it all on video, but we don't see that. Only thing he says is stay in the bike lane, which they are not required to do and it isn't always safe. There are parked cars so the bike lane is probably a door zone lane, and at night in the rain too, likely a bad place to be. Also are many cyclists from other groups, so likely there's need to pass at times. But we didn't see what happened here. Driver says he "moved over in the lane". There are two lanes. Those lanes aren't legally wide enough for safe sharing. If there are bikes in one lane the right thing to do is move into the other lane, not pass by "over in the the lane". In the end though, this is just an argument about something we didn't see.
Parking lane, bike lane and two driving lanes. Bicycles wanting to pass using the car lane have the responsibility of making sure it's safe to do so, just as a car is required. However the amenity of being on a bicycle without a plate or registration allows them the courage and poor judgement of doing stupid things thet wouldn't want done to them. They have every right to the road however little consequence for the rules of the road causes frustration to anyone trying to be curtious when driving.
Besides the front came is the only one posted, the side, and rear cams haven't until the Police are done with them. 😁
Ok, I found your other vids. For the initial incident there was some fault on both sides probably (depends on local law, but I will say there was no door zone lane, no pullouts, etc at that time) but by far more fault was on you than them initially. They didn't do anything to put anyone in danger, you did. You didn't need to pass that. way, and pulling back in that close was dangerous with a car in front of you. Their behaviour later wasn't cool either though. While your action wasn't very safe, I've seen a lot worse, and people who really cycle a lot and have a decent life and job don't escalate every incident that much. As for cyclists registering. They are just humans travelling. Travel is considered by most legal scholars and judges to be a fundamental basic right of the type referred to in the preamble and 5th amendment regarding when one can lose "liberty" through due process etc. Cars on the other hand are more dangerous than all other man made things combined, and cars are NOT a right, and yes they are registered. Of course anyone can cause problems. A person with no vehicle can commit crimes, but they are not required to wear tags on their neck. Humans are not interfering in the drivers' world. Drivers interfere in the human world and are regulated because of it. "You guy's aren't even in your own lane" Whatever lane they are in, IS their own lane. Yes, they should travel in the right lane unless they have some reason (often one not obvious to you as a driver). But that's a separate issue from you giving them their lane. It's like someone travelling in the HOV lane with one person. Ok, that's illegal, but it's still their lane for purposes of vehicle priority and safety. It's not a fair game for you to create a danger to them. Both parties had some wrongdoing.
Only cam posted. You have 3 other videos though showing the actual initial incident and a little bit of what happened after this. I had not seen those initially. Didn't know you posted them. They aren't linked in your description.
Doing a wheelie on a Honda RC51 is most challenging and tricky due to the hydraulic clutch and all the power at the rear wheel is at lower RPM due to the V-twin engine. Nice job here.
