Ha haa. That actually looks better than what we got with our airbnb villa on Corfu. Dirty pool, mold around the kitchen sink, and a huge dead insect with ants crawling all over it in the center of the kitchen floor when we arrived. I'm starting to wonder if people on this island have a very low standard for what they consider clean or acceptable.
Check out our hotel in Munich elsewhere on the channel, it makes this look good. The problem is people lock up their places at the end of the season, let them rot over the winter them open them again in spring.

Have taken a bit of flak about this. The whole monetisation of the beaches is a bit of a bugbear with me.
@@GrecoFilesKerkyra it can be expensive to enjoy the beach. Found the main beach in Dasia the same. But if you bring some beach towels and find a nice spot out of the way of the main beach then all is good.
You are living my dream. Back to Gouvia in August for two weeks of bliss.
Been 10 years now. It's a lovely place to live. Getting to travel throughout the country is amazing. Will be back on the mainland next month. Maybe I'll see you in the Tudor in August?

Hello I am coming to Corfu in late April. I am staying in gouvia at the molfetta beach hotel. I really don't like snakes, there my worst nightmare. Am I likely to see any near the hotel or the beach. I want to be prepared. And would really appreciate any advice or information.
Hi, the chances of running into a snake are low. Just avoid any scrubland and long grass as that's where they tend to live. I have a resort guide on the channel to Gouvia in case you haven't seen it yet.

Ready for the season ahead. How did the home renovation go?, the weather looks great, raining here in the UK.
Home renovation went well. Delay with the new kitchen but should arrive from Italy soon!! We will be island hopping next month, so expect some videos from the Argo Saronics.
