The thing is that South Africa should be clear. It is not true that people always had borders. We never ask that people should produce papers in Africa and that is the difference. The differences that were there before 1884 that Kumalo said has always been there are still there now amongst tribes but people are not required to produce a paper if they go to another tribe. Yes if you leave Eastern Cape to KZN you might be expected to inform the King what you are doing in KZN as a form of respect but not that you need papers and restrictions. Even Europe as separate countries do not need visas or restrictions on each other so why are we black people continuing with such foolishness? Yet we do not restrict white people in Africa the way we restrict each other. White people from the same Zimbabwe are given papers in South Africa while we are still arguing if we should give black Zimbabweans.
