Hold on a second. You're saying that its unusual that he takes into account the slope of the green and the distance to the hole to formulate how he will hit the ball. How is that unusual? Everybody who has ever played golf in the history of the sport takes those 2 things into account. Every single person squats down to see where the green slopes. Every sing person will determine how hard to hit it based on how far away the ball is to the hole. I dont get what you mean about this "vector putting" being unusual.

I donr understand why you should ban different styles of putting. I honestly dont really see why there should be anything to ban in golf. Maybe if you had some kind of compressed air golf club head that shoots the ball further. But other than something like that, I dont see why it matters. Who cares what design the clubs are or what materials they're made ojt of. Who cares what stance you have when hitting the ball. You still need to be accurate and get the ball in the hole. It just seems silly.

I don’t think he is weird. You can claim anyone is weird. He is an excellent golfer and he has a great online presence and he is friendly and easy going. I love the guy and he has helped revive golf as being interesting and not all stuffy and snobby. Call that ‘weird’ if you want, but it’s what the sport needs.

I like him. I am no avid golfer but I follow his YT channel. He has a great personality and is generous with his time for people. He attracts people to the game and that can only be a good thing.

I ran into all of the same questions when I started playing golf casually. I was taught by my boss who is an engineer (and so am I) and thus, all of this makes sense.
