No thank you
I can appreciate the work that Jason and his team do and you can see the economic impact that sports tourism creates. He seems like a very nice guy and knowledgeable guy. I do think if Jason or Steve Hogan (Florida Citrus Sports) truly wanted to attempt to bring another professional sports team to town they would have gotten behind the baseball effort and made it there own ( if they did it would have pushed it through) instead they went head to head with the baseball effort for TDT Tax dollars. Hogan got 400m for Camping World Stadium and Jason got 500M for the convention Center expansion (which is where the vast majority of the events Go Sports brings in are held). If another professional sports team came to town that would just be one more entity (our of like 50) asking for billions of dollars of TDT money in the future and I "assume" that those guy think that would drain future money that they could potentially be getting.
Love unique content like this. He’a clearly knowledgable in his field
Fascinating interview with Jason Seagull! It's clear his passion for sports and strategic thinking have been instrumental in making Orlando a powerhouse sports destination. Who knew a city without major league teams could be #1?
Compared to the IoA Preview Center, this one seems just a bit underwhelming.
Lots of NASA employees lived in Orlando and commuted. There was not a lot of housing near Cape Canaveral in the late 60’s.
Interesting! Thanks for sharing!
Glad you enjoyed it!!
Hope you're in good health. 😎
Where you been, Ken? Been waiting on some content
Back at it this week! Been busy helping clients and spending time with family. Tour dropping Tuesday on our main channel + 2 others already in the works. Thanks for the support, Winston!
Sad that the MLB opportunity is seemingly off the table now.
Wow that's crazy how small lakeyola looks in the 60s I've lived in the Orlando area for the past 34 years and wouldn't change it for the world
I’m at the sea world hotel right now and tomorrow I’m going to sea world
This was a pleasure to view and your enthusiasm is infectious! I had a wide smile watching this video from start to finish.
They couldn't have "very easily" just torn down chickapen hill lol that would have cost MONEY and if there's one thing we know Disney won't do, it's spend money on improving it's guests experience.
Jeff did a great job in this interview
Horrible ride
Glad to see yourself enjoying my work.
I don’t think the ride was bad, I just think that if disney was to replace an iconic attraction such as splash, they would need to make a 11/10 ride to replace it, and they gave us a pretty average ride. They also had so many opportunities to make an amazing ride, (Dr. Facilier, the other side, etc), and they decided not to use any.
They could have just based it on the actual movie
Supper clubs are still huge in Wisconsin. I forgot about them when I moved down here, but went with my parents to one recently and was surprised by the price being as low as it was.
Lived there 1 year.
The Hate Comes From The Greedy CEO of Disney Who Isn’t Happy With How Much They’ve Made Already And Need To Plough Mire Iconic Rides Just For More Money
Looks like a calm ride!
Wait till you actually go on it
@@SML_1_BIGGEST_FAN I’ve done bigger ones before!
Some of the best airtime you can get. And the smoothest ride I’ve been on
You can’t see the rockets until they are well into the air and by that point it’s not the best view, you might think it’s a star at first
Most people complaining haven’t even rode it but, are watching on a screen. It really is much better in person and I personally really liked it and more importantly my 5 year old really liked it.
Great blast from the past. Been in Florida since 1970 and in O-town since '80. I had to laugh when they showed the library. Now it seems to be a hangout for the homeless unfortunately.
Cons- -Anticlimactic -Animatronics are far apart and when shown are cluttered -Boring scenery that only looks nice -Babies seem to be it’s target audience
You don’t understand the hate? They replaced one of the most iconic rides ever made. The question is, how many years until someone is offended by this ride and we change it again?
I lived in Orlando from 2005 until 2022. Orlando is a great place to visit but I wouldn't want to live there again.
The ride story should have been based off the movie instead of making a new story I also don't like tianas design she looks like she is from a disney jr show they did Tiana dirty
Who the #%@ is Tiana🤔🤦🏼♂️ Boring story theme😴 Who’s idea was this🤔🤦🏼♂️🤯🤷🏻♂️ They should of done a story line classic that will last generations to come like, Little Red Riding Hood & The 3 little pigs & The Big Bad Wolf. Or the squirrel & the mammoth & tiger from Ice Age trying to save his nuts 🥜. To me the biggest highlight on Splash Mtn was the two buzzards just before the big drop💦
I moved here as a kid in 1980 from the Northeast and absolutely loved it. My friends and I would walk through the woods that later became Universal Studios, and swim in the area lakes which were crystal clear with white sandy beaches. Everybody left their houses unlocked and everyone knew everyone. We never got in trouble as all of the neighborhood moms had full authority to whip our butts if we got out of line, and then we'd get it again when we got home! We'd canoe and ride bicycles, and later ATVs. Most of the lakes are surrounded by homes now and the woods are mostly built up unless you go further out of town. It's still nice, but it's not the small, friendly community it used to be.
Never underestimate the power and reach of the Mom Network, keeping watch over the neighborhood children and whipping butts since back in the day! 😄
@@briancourtemanche8065 For sure, the original internet!

Did she say wuhkeevuh? 😂😂
Spike's Tactical.
I was there opening day... I was 10.. lmao
This ride IS THE BEST I went to Seaworld for a field trip and it was my first time and I went on this and I was in love it’s my 2nd fave ride
The Minnesota Twins were actually the first team to have a Minor League Baseball team in Orlando. They played at tinkerfield.
Even my cousin and aunt lives in Orlando from New York.
My childhood friend lives in Orlando from Melbourne FL and loves it up there.
I can't wait to go see it. My GF works as a cast member so we'll be popping in. People love to hate on Disney. Not a fan of where SW universe is going, but as for everything else, Disney is awesome
I remember when nothing was around it. Lol
Amen to that!
Honestly it looks good (coming from a universal shill who hates almost anything Disney does!!)
The reason people dont really like it is there is basically no story, they gutted the voodoo so they lost any sense of danger or tension they could have had at the drop because it might be offensive to some people... Also they should have replaced the logs they dont make sense with the new them.
I’m a second generation native. I predate Disney. It’s not the town I grew up in.
Do you have any good stories that show the comparison between before Disney and after? I would be very interested to read about the difference.
@10:00 MotherF*cker, your state has 3 teams already, you have any idea how many states have ZERO?
Saw king Julian at the hotel and when when I was at the park. Also tigress
What a waste of time and money and an already great attraction (Splash Mountain)
"things were not actually better in the old days it's just ride tinted goggles" "I4 with no traffic"
With all the tech we now have at our hands, We forget that the tech is advancing,it’s the nature of tech. Humans on the other hand only advance ,If they want to. Primitive attachments to things and places not under their control.😂😂😂
