to an extent, yes. this is a misunderstanding of the verse, as modesty here means without excess. you can see in the verse quoted and in Peter 3:3-4 there is mention of gold and adornment, not about a dress code (other parts of the bible teach about how beautiful the body is). basically if you are a Christian then the verses are not saying anything about long sleeves or skirts but about avoiding the trappings of wealth (this is much more closely in line with the rest of the bible, too, which speaks a lot about wealth being the opposite of Godliness) The fixation on women’s bodies is man made as you can see from the wealth of many churches they are not that bothered about that part ;) If you are not a Christian then yes you should just wear what you want

This is saying that God wants women to clothe themselves with good works and not expensive, revealing clothes which are material in nature and attract potentially evil and/or dangerous people into your lives. -Proverbs 7:10 “And, behold, there met him a woman with the attire of an harlot, and subtil of heart.” This verse is part of a passage that provides wisdom about avoiding temptation and making wise choices. It emphasizes the importance of staying away from immoral influences and being discerning in our interactions with others. Today's society makes these verses challenging because people are soo focused on showing more of their bare skin or wearing revealing clothing everywhere.
