Dedicated to quality Lego builds with a leaning towards engines and mechanics. I feature some superb Lego Vacuum Engines and Lego building tips.
Lego Steam Engine - William Murdoch 1802
William Murdoch's Bell Crank Engine of 1802. The bell crank engine, though of odd appearance, was the first self supporting steam engine. The design was produced in various forms from 1797 to 1806. If you like my creation please give me a'like' and subscribe!

Lego Beam Engine, Lego steam engine, James Watt 1788

Lego James Watt beam engine from 1788. This is a working LVE (Lego Vacuum Engine) model of the oldest surviving largely original rotary steam engine in the world, which is now in the Museum of Science and Industry in London. The model operates from a vacuum of a single vacuum cleaner and has the Watt style valve linkage and a working governor, in fact it demonstrates a number of Watt's improvem...

Lego Trencherfield Mill 'Steam' Engine - Dismantling
Переглядів 1,6 тис.3 роки тому
Many of you have asked for a tutorial on the Trencherfield Mill Lego engine. This is not a complete tutorial and doesn't contain build instructions I'm afraid, but does give some build pointers and it shows the inside of the cylinders and explains the Dobson's block valve gear.
Lego Steam Engine
Переглядів 209 тис.4 роки тому
A Lego vacuum engine (LVE) model of the four cylinder 2500hp Trencherfield Mill steam engine in Wigan (built 1907). This model has four working cylinders, each with 4 corliss valves and the inlet valves on the 'high pressure' cylinders are controlled by the Dobsons block mechanism. I hope you like the build.

My 1920 Lister 'J' type stationary engine, originally supplied to Burgess of Stafford. It has the original coolant and fuel tanks as well as the silencer. The magneto is of a later date.

A Small Lego beam engine running on air. Built to resemble the real thing!
Just to clarify, this Will Murdoch and the ill-fated Titanic’s First Officer are different people
Amazing, amazing, amazing. Amazing again.
Please make a tutorial
what type of vacuum are you using? my vacuum doesn't seem to be powerful enough
Unbelievable
geil
Very nicely done 👍
It's amazing how amazing this is despite not being anywhere near as amazing as your other amazing stuff.
In fact, it's amazing how amazed I am by its amazingly amazing amazingness. Can you tell I'm amazed?
Not sarcasm.
Amazing!! I love that motion!
What an amazing model! That flywheel gearing is clever.
Even made a little oil can, nice!
Why does it say Lego (beam) engine ?
Why does this only have 8 my views? I should have 8 million.
Imagine putting this mechanism on a steam engine
This thing is beautiful, dont give up, God has built you with creativity and purpose.
Da para contar as explosões na camara ,wonderfull
Hey man! This is top notch work. When I made my engine, I never thought I'd see more of them pop up, but man am I glad to see it. Yours looks even cooler with the proper colours. Kudos :)
That is rather wonderful
Hello there wondering if you got plans on making another engine
Woahhhhh!! How long did this take to make?
Wow he deserves 1mil likes and subs he’s a amazing UA-camr
Looks great 😀👍, do you have a tutorial how i can also build it 😁?
tell Lego to make this an actual set
any instruction on how to recreate it?
amazing
Very interesting, i like your diferent approach to the engine, and your valves, that very original and unique. I can see all the hard work and knowledge that involve here.👍
I don’t know much about Lego apart from playing with it as a young boy and now playing it with my own young boys, but I would have thought that there are people / displays around that would buy a working model of this scale? Just curious whether there’s a market for that kind of thing.
Wow, that's amazing! A great teaching tool for kids, I would think.
Really nice, fantastic engine mate!
Thank GOD for those safety improvements. 8^)
this is beautiful.
Incredible! Wow, I'm so impressed. The eccentric is so cool. This is such an unusual engine.
wonderful work there. woll it be posable to desine a simple engine and tell us haw to make it? thanks
beautiful, and again it sounds awesome
Like someone else said -- stunning creation. I'm blown away
This engine is absolutely amazing, indistinguishable from the real thing! I’m wondering how the centre of the flywheel has been constructed with 8 points for the spokes to be attached to? Any chance you could show it? Again, amazing engine.
Thank you very much for your kind comments. It's been a little while since I looked but it's still built up so I'll take a look when I get chance. I'm hoping to do more builds this winter!
Would you be able to show how the centre of the flywheel was built, or at least explain it please, amazing engine btw
pls show how valve work
That must have lots of torque,i simply love it
It's doesn't have a great deal but LVEs are notoriously leaky when built on this scale. It does run nice though :-)
is this air powered?
Okay, now that's done, just think of putting your hand on that flywheel.
So cool 😎
Excellent ! Very well done!
I come back 10 months later and this has 190k views :D
Will it be in store
Oh wow! That’s so impressive !
Thank you so much!
How fast is it?
