If you are a heavier runner or pronate you will eat through the almost non existent rubber sole pads!
i got the tempus its really good
i got the tempus
No such thing as vaporwave. Can someone please tell me the name of the second shoe
Nice
where's the legendary Triumph 20 ??? my first ever daily trainer shoes.. I love that shoes..
which of them is good for skipping?
Bring back the King MT, what were they thinking in shutting that line down. Best shoe they ever made.
Just got my zegamas cant wait to really get em tested this month in yosemite
Very helpful thank you, just received my Mafate Speed 4's in Size 10 from Hoka and without having gone out running in them yet my initial impressions are not good. I have a narrow feet and coming from the Evo Speedgoat I've read nothing but positive reviews about these but if I were to keep them I may have to half a size down, they are big! Almost too big for my liking, they feel and look like I have illuminous rubber bricks on and for nearly £160 - im feeling mightly ripped off right now.. The Speedgoat 5 look like my best option
Hi Jeremy! Yes they definitely are a bit wider in the toe box. Also the overall volume. They allow for a foot with a higher instep thicker in other words. I find the Speed Goat lacks “volume” for my liking but works for many. The Mafate is a great option for 50 milers and above. Where the feet swell more. At 160 Quid I would probably go back to the SG5 if that works better for your feet! I know the Speed Goats have got wider over each iteration but you might want to go with the 🐐 regardless
What is the vapor wave?
Hi Brent! It is a plated PB foam trail Racing shoe. It’s their super shoe for trails
THE SHOE is called Ultrafly Trail, wtf
Any chance you know the name of the model at the end (top shelf) with the wavy patterns? I know it's a Hierro of some kind
I will do some research and kind out! Off the top of my head I don’t remember?!
Did they show an updated version of Cloud Monster by any chance?
Hi Derek! I don’t think so?! New Surfer for sure. Completely revamped
Buenisimas
🙌🔥
Does it feels kind of like Nike streakfly
I have the Steakfly and to me very different. The Hyperion is firmer and much more stable. Wider base and a completely different on foot experience. I would prefer the streakfly for short distances track work etc. but the Hyperion Max is great for 10km plus!
Did i see that right? Were there also regular Kinvaras (like kinvara 14) alongside the Pro, i couldnt see it well when you pointed the 2nd time around. Or is the kinvara line dead (the pro isn't truly what a kinvara has been for the past 13 seasons lol)
That’s correct two different versions. Nothing alike. The Kinvara is also got a lot more cushion and the pro is similar to a SC Trainer from New Balance. The Kinvara is gaining 3mm across the entire platform making it considerably softer. For better or worse to be seen?!
@@cfc4231 thanks for explaining. Guess I'm buying a few kinvara 13s
@@Langor my pleasure!
When Triumph 21?
@@alessiobonino7495 Hi Alessio! It releases Summer 2023. I will do some research and find out which month!
I've got the peg trail 4 gtx just because I wanted a waterproof pair, and damn are they great in concrete too. If there was a gtx zegama I'd choose it tho
That would be awesome! The Zegama takes Nike into a whole new demographic of trail shoes! Up there with the speed Goat, Mafate, Stinson, etc. I’m excited to see where Nike goes with this genre!
Daily trainner?
Hi Cesar! Absolutely, I use it for long slower runs, tempo runs and it’s enough shoe for long races too. The DNA Flash midsole is very light and responsive and there is a lot of it. Plenty of outsole which allows you to log lots of miles.
@@cfc4231 thanks a Lot
You’re welcome!
I believe Nike will use Formula 23 in Running shoes fingers crossed 🤞
With @nike and @jumpman23 dropping their latest Foam, Formula23 a Pylon Injection midsole with a more “tuned EVA” , it’s also added an ISO Plate on the lateral side giving this shank plate a very springy feel. Increasing one’s vertical simultaneously also helping with cutting or pivoting on the court. A nimble yet stable feeling. The flight wire on the upper is great for lateral stability and the double layer sock lined upper hold the foot secure. The @kyrieirving is probably a comparable fit and feel. The new @lukadoncic 1 is exciting and I can’t wait to wear these! 💯🔥 check out my Instagram @TarikDavros
What shoe is that with the new cushioning layout. I think it’s their new cloudtec phase.
Hi Brent! It’s called the Eclipse
What a beauty! How much did you get it for?
I believe they retail for $170. I was given them to review from my local running store FootTech in Lubbock Tx. I consult with them and worked in the industry for about a decade.
Can you do a review on the new ones
Yes I can! I will upload that soon. Good idea
Wow those look bad ,maybe I need to stock up on some more v2s.
Which model didn’t you like? Anything specific? You mentioned V2 was just wondering!?!?
He’s referring to the more trail v3’s. I was under this initial impression as well… but i now own the vintage teal, and neon orange color ways. I have every color way in v2. The v3’s look MUCH better in person. The online photos and videos don’t do them justice. The weird wavey designs on the outsole, don’t appear so obvious and out of place in person. Fantastic shoe. %100 recommended. My ONLY gripe is for the last 3 colorways they have neglected to include a 2E / wide option. Very frustrating.
Also interesting in Brooks Cascadia 17 if you saw it… thanks!
Hi Claire I looked back at my footage and couldn’t tell! I don’t remember seeing it?! I believe it’s coming out at the end of the year? I will double check that and if I get a definitive answeri Will message you!
Is the Speedgoat getting even narrower this year?
No it’s not to my knowledge! Plus I believe it’s a color update not a new model this fall. You can get it in wide as well 💪
Over the last few iterations it’s gotten wider. It’s never felt wide enough for my feet in a standard width however. I know it’s very popular with many people that being said.
I will be doing a full review on this shoe in the next couple of weeks stay tuned!
Zinal 2 are for fall winter 2023 right??
That’s right!
I can’t wait ! The zinal 2 looks very interesting
@@guillaumecovat2117 I’m definitely hyped for the Zinal 2
Oooh! New Stinson's. Nice.
It’s going to be 🔥 I’m excited for it
Is that a Speedgoat 6 or just different colorway of the 5?
I believe that is a color update
Sticker said “Fall 2023” - probably not going to be updated until 2024.
@@davidtfrederick I believe that is right
😢 - I was looking forward to a Speedgoat6. The 5 was a definite improvement on the 4, I was hoping for another move in the same direction in 2023.
@@danielthacker3906 you might like the Mafate Speed 4
No new torrent coming out?
I don’t believe so?!
New Torrent comes out soon. Upper update.
Its been 2 years since a new Stinson has been released. Do you know the release date of the Stinson 7?
It’s a Fall 2023 shoe. Exactly when I’m not positive I bet between June and September if I get an exact date I will message you again!
@@cfc4231 thanks
Did you see any new colours of the Mafate Speed 4? Because the current ones suck😅
It’s on a 2 year cycle I would think it may be a while until we see color updates. They might do 1 or 2 more tops
@@cfc4231 thanks
@@dpbg welcome!
zinal 2 looks good.., I’ll pass though. new Stinson looks interesting too
The Stinson will be awesome! I do want to give the Zinal a try since I didn’t wear the 1st one
They all look good. Having a hard time picking!
Yes agreed! I’m excited to run in the new Challenger! It is a little more road than trail but it should handle a variety of terrain very well.
@@cfc4231 currently on my second sp5. Have the zinal too but don’t use it much other than for walking around. I’m curious to check out the new challenger.
@@enriqueflorendo I will probably be getting a pair in the next couple days and reviewing them! If and when you get them I would love to hear your thoughts!
Would you say it’s grippier than the Speedgoat 5’s? I’m a SG5 convert but am really liking these so far as a snappy one. Tried the Tecton X and find they got loose and lack grip on trail and wet conditions. Thx
Hi Steve! Short answer… Definitely. The volume of the Tecton X lends itself to being loose. I felt the same! With regards to SG5. The outsole is nowhere near that of the Mafate Speed 4. It has 5mm of lug depth, with layered steps of Hoka’s Traction Lugs. the Mafate Speed 4 retains Vibram’s Megagrip compound - with Litebase construction. Essentially this means a thinner base for the rubber itself is embedded into the midsole, which saves weight. This construction is proven to be durable and the rubber itself is also proven to be durable and long-wearing. Speed Goat 5 has no segmentation, especially at the midfoot, and is a less flexible shoe. The MS5 with its Vibram rubber compound is exceptionally grippy on any surface, with notably good wet traction
