How To Remove A Wheel Lock Without The Key
Best video I have seen, you showed us where exactly to put the silicone and how much. Thanks for this awesome tutorial!
@@georgevalenzuela2489 Glad I could help brother!
Add air to his tires and play on your phone while it drains
I have a Ronin drain plug on my F150 and it's worth it's weight on gold..
Next time, get the engine hot before draining the oil and remove the oil filler cap to let air into the engine to allow the oil to drain as fast as possible. They (Fumoto valves) do work well and yes; they are somewhat slower to drain, but they don't require any tool to open, and I have never had one leak. Usually, you can do something else while the oil is draining, and it won't be such an inconvenience.
After reading the comments, props to you for staying humble! 🤘
This guy is a twerp. Fumoto valves are super easy to use and much easier on cleanup.
Why this not come standard?
Leaf blower at the fill port.
Thank you!!! Max
@@herreradimas you’re welcome!
Came very handy today, defter changing the alternator. Thank you 🙏 👍👍
@@chrisczarnik3439 I’m glad I could help my brother!
Just use a little air in the dipstick it’ll get it right out
Cry me a river jeezus
FU MOTO
this is actually the very first video uploaded of this mount being replaced thanks man!!! so i just have a couple of questions, what kinds of signs and symptoms would i expect if this mount needs to be replaced? Just as some feedback i think it's always cool when people that replace parts actually explain why the part needs to be replaced and what kinds of things to be on the lookout for.
Hey, thanks brother, that’s definitely something that will add to my future videos. Also, I had no idea that this was the first video on this mount! So basically, when an engine mount goes bad there will be a lot of vibration at idle, sometimes the vibration will get worse when shifting into reverse or turning on the AC. You can check the mounts by doing a power break test. I’ll have to make a video on that later. I hope this helped my brother! Thanks for watching
Buddy has 0 patience... horrible tech
I do all of my oul changes and have a FUMOTO on 3 cars. Love the things. Since I'm doing my own I'm not taking 3 hours of my life driving to get it serviced and waiting while not being sure about what's being put into the car. I've got time and just let it drain while I do other things. No new gaskets, no over or under torque of the drain plug. And no mess at all. On my wife's last car the drainplug was in a dumb location that made an incredible mess unless you jerry rigged a funnel from a soda bottle. That was solved with the FUMOTO and a small piece of hose.
And he drives a honda V6 certified genius
Great engine 🤷🏼♂️
It’s funny to me when I see these like they put it on there so it would be easier for them to change the oil then they take it to a shop anyways
Honestly every time I’ve seen one of these I’ve never seen one seep or leak any oil. Now something scary I’ve seen is a drain plug that is held in by a magnet ONLY
OMG all the guys on the Subaru pages love these stupid things. I cant help but laugh every time I hear them mentioned. Especially after they jack up the car, put it on stands, remove the under tray.... After all that, they cant spend the 3 extra seconds to remove a drain bolt.
On a 2018 f150 v8 better than draining into the sway bar and going everywhere! Engineers must do better @ these prices!
Too risky, it can pop loose or something. Bolt is bulletproof
You can clean the oil spill in the meantime.
This job is not for you if you let that bother you. Wait till you do a waterpump on a northstar engine. The one where you have to remove the water outlet while the engine is still in the vehicle. You'll really be crying or end up quitting.
Used them for 30 years in all my vehicles. Never had an issue. Keeps everything much cleaner. If you are a pro mechanic bitching about it then fire the customer.
Maybe it’s draining slow cause you put the filter back in to soon
Wait till a random stick opens the petcock as you're driving
Maybe since the last time he stopped by, y’all put his drain plug back with a 1/2” impact.
I think a lot of people (including the person in this video) are missing another MAIN POINT about why these valves are installed. It's not necessarily about it being "faster" but about it being LESS MESSY AND EASIER. With the typical drain plug there is almost no way around getting oil on your fingers or hands whereas with this, you don't have to worry about that. Now sure, one could argue that you're going to get oil on your fingers or hands if you're removing the oil filter but this is not necessarily true if you're good enough to know how to "spin" the filter enough just right before it gets loose enough to let oil start draining. If you've done enough oil changes in your life, you know when that point is and you can get away with not getting your fingers/hands dirty. Plus, you could essentially do an oil change without ANY tools with this valve because you don't need any and if you're not an idiot that tightens filters too tight, you shouldn't need any tools to remove an oil filter. So, this valve serves multiple purposes and it's not necessarily about saving time.
Suction....
Why do mechanics hate their customers?
Ah, the ol' Fumoto drain valve, lol. My STi's previous owner installed one, and at 1st, I hated it. Then, I realized the benefits, and when you're changing your own oil, there's no flat rate clock time to beat, so I kept it. Less mess. No crush washer to replace. No chance of dropping the damn drain plug into a pool of hot oil. No chance of cross threading once installed. They do have their perks. For a flat-rate technician, they can be viewed as a nuisance. However, if you're doing a LOF/ROT, the oil should be done draining once you've completed your MPI and rotation. So.... is it really that big of a deal, or are we just fishing for clicks here? I suppose if you're just changing the oil, it's meh. But that's about the worst of it.
An ingenious solution for a non existent problem
Something bumps that lever and drainage will begin. Not intelligent at all
I have the same valve on both of my trucks and they work great. It works best when the engine is warm and it does actually flow faster when you remove the oil cap while draining. The biggest advantage is you dont chance spilling oil all over yourself when you have to crawl under your vehicle to do an oil change.
Hi, thanks for the video! Quick question: where is the fuel filter located?
Bro is probably like 95
I think I might need that
@@samgage2294 you don’t
lol, so many people complaining about shops instead of just changing their own oil.😂
They take no more than couple minutes to drain
Low and slow. That how he likes it
All those quick drain valves are garbage
After market garbage plugs you use factory drain plug less problems.
When you use that "ultra short-life"- oil that needs changed after 1000 miles
If you had to change a 5th gen Ram with the 5.7, you’d understand.
Fumoto has been around for decades. AND THEY WORK GREAT!
How about stop bitching and do youre job
I just got an appointment for the 3rd of January.. i noticed mine a while back but it seemed to increase even more since it has gotten colder in Texas
Nice ! Did he have to poop your semen out after ?
Have it on my Subaru Forester. Gamer changer for DIY person. So much cleaner.
