This video is the first in a series in which I create healthy meal plans on a budget. I want to help people across the UK feel comfortable cooking from scratch and encourage them to move away from pre-packaged and convenience foods. Working together, we can rebuild the health of our nation! #healthyeating , #healthyfood, #cleaneating, #healthylifestyle, #eatclean, #healthyrecipes, #fitfood, #nu...
Could you adjust the volume please? I can hear many other peoples videos okay - but the volume on yours is one I struggle to hear (even at maximum setting on my computer). I think probably a noticeable number of people have had one (or both) of our ears get temporary Covid deafness and it's maybe gone on for months and months by now/we don't know when (or even if) our hearing is going to go back to normal - and we arent taking any of the conventional measures for it - because it's "temporary Covid deafness" (mine has been going for over a year by now - whilst I wait for it to get back to normal somehow/sometime and have been told "It's your age - hearing aid"....nope/won't be doing that because it is a Covid thing). So I'm struggling to hear it - but many other videos are quite clear and no struggle to hear....
Hi I love the cheap supermarket baked beans they are much nicer that the heinz beans you vould have beans on toast with a fried egg on top I always put my egg the yolk side down so when I press the egg the yolk goes into the beans a nice easy dinner or tea love fran xxx❤❤❤
Hello…a thought…it would be great to see your final meal chart showing what you ate for breakfast, lunch and supper. By the way…what do you drink?…no milk, tea, coffee?

New subscriber I have a budget every week, And to keep to my budget i write a meal plan for the week, i don’t buy many snacks I buy a lot of fruit instead, because I have no kids at home now all grown up and left home, Thanks 🙏 for sharing your vlog 😊
What excellent commentary. I hope many people will watch your channel, lots of good advice here.
A litre of milk seems scant for 2 people, to make drinks, porridge, baking, cauliflower cheese. But the cheaper supermarkets (Tesco, Aldi, Lidl) do a litre for 50p, so a family could buy more there. I was interested to see your butter - did you get this because it’s cheaper, or vegetarian or is it healthier than actual butter? Great video, really nice to see one from an expert for a change! Keep up the good work!
Wait, how are you an NHS doctor, with 2 kids, living on £15 per week?
Its an example
Glad you are back , on new channel, missed the old videos
Love Lidl and Aldi👍Their tofu is great and doesn’t need pressing which saves time💕
Love tofu, sprinkle corn flour and spices on it and fry it till crispy 👍💕
If you take the fried rice to work for lunch, do you eat it cold? ( Enjoying the videos btw)
Hi! A Costco video would be good. Do you use marmite. We are vegan and put it in most things. It's lovely in the gravy granules. I've tried tofu all different ways and can't find a way I like it. It's a texture thing 😅
Have you tried freezing it first? It changes the texture👍💕
@@amandac9210 I've not tried that but I will do. Thank you 😊
Very good video thank you for doing it. I think lidl is brilliant for eating healthy on a budget.
Yes Please for the sourdough
Thank you for the ideas
Please can you do Tesco soon? It's my nearest big shop so the only place I go because I am too tight to spend money travelling to shops 😅 Love the inspiration in these videos!
Thank you. It’s good to have ideas for vegetarian meals for one which are healthy.
Thanks for watching :)
Very interesting. I am always on the lookout for more vegetarian recipes.
Thanks for watching :)
Love to see the sourdough 😊
Thanks for watching!
Love the idea behind this channel! Look forward to following you and watching your videos.
Thank you :)
Great video. Im not vegan or veggie but i am trying to have more meat free meals for my family so will be interested in new, healthy recipes ❤
Thanks, I was worried the tofu would scare people off, haha!
Great video. Looking forward to veggie recipes. Especially tofu, really interested in how to cook with that.
Thanks for watching, I'll post the tofu recipe shortly. It was delicious so highly recommend :)
Would love to see this list versus Aldi or Lidl.
I have a Lidl within walking distance so I'll do them next time. Bit more of a challenge as you can't price check the items online (I think?).
Thank you for your inspiration. As a vegetarian who tries to eat a healthy diet this is going to be helpful. I bake bread, have porridge for breakfast and enjoy vegetable stew and look forward to seeing ideas for other healthy and budget friendly meals.
Thanks for watching :)
Where are you living, because food prices are far cheaper in the north than in the south?
I'm just outside of Bristol. I wasn't aware of a North/South price difference!
@@thrivinginsuburbia yes I'm in Lancashire and it's cheaper. We were in cambs for 10 years and the price differences are a lot.
