Surrounded by Florida deer and Turkey and can’t do anything!
Переглядів 30Рік тому
Florida turkey season takes a turn when I get surrounded by deer and turkey and can’t do anything but sit back and watch the show.
I’d get rid of the brake rotors and calipers
Very cool ! Love watching them come batch from Nothing to a great mode of transport. I enjoyed building mine back in the 90’s.
That’s a beautiful setup
I know a guy with a super and he put a 90 Yamaha on it. Took it off pretty quick. Couldn’t use the power.
I just know that thing hauls ass
I used to own an LT25 raptor stick steer with a 50 Yamaha. It would do a hair over 41 mph in perfect conditions and 38 pretty much anytime. The issue with big motor Gheenoes is the rear of the hull has a downward angle on the edges almost like built in trim tabs, it creates noticeable drag the faster these things move so the gains with more power are highly diminishing. The sweet spot power wise in my opinion is 30hp as they weigh the same as the 25s and when propped correctly they can get 34-35 mph. I’m planning on having a new one built and will go with a 20 4 stroke, it was cool having a fast Gheenoe, but there were so many compromises with that big 20” shaft 50 and the heavy ass end making it difficult to get out of shallow areas and on plane.
How shallow can you jump on plane with a 25 hp
Hey man, love this video. Did you enter the unit on Concho Billie trail off Turner River Rd here?
How about part 3?
Coming out this year had to set this project aside for a little but it will be done in the next few months
This is really cool, I was just browsing video on the TV and saw this project. I'll be watching all the parts , UA-cam channel Keyfarm
Where the 20 cinder blocks at, inside that cooler?🤣
I need to figure out brakes on mine. I'm in West Palm area.
We need a part 3, is it done yet 😅
These are the best days right there. 👍
That's one hell of a motor
Thanks bud!
You sure that's not a Super 16?
Not a super
How much you pay for everything
I like Gheenoes and all but for the price I prefer to have a bigger boat. My 16 StarCraft rebuild only cost me $400 for a wide deep V and is 5 feet across the bottom, 6 foot wide across the beams and sticks out of the water 2 feet. When my new 30 Suzuki it will do almost 30 mph.
How is the transom strong enough to support that 60
What was the top speed
Looking real good man… pretty sure I’ve passed you out there before in the cypress during deer season… I recognize that truck… trying to find a cypress buggy myself! Keep up the good work! Lookin forward to the next video
Appreciate it, it will be out there this season!
Curious if you reinforced the transom.
Nice job bro 👏
Much appreciated! More outdoor content coming soon.
no running shots? wtf lol show us wide open throttle
Got a few of them, just can’t tell how fast it was because I was in the boat and I unfortunately cannot get anymore because the boat was sold
Prob couldn't go past 1000 rpms lol
I love it out there. I've hunted and hiked hundreds of mile in Turner, Bear Island and the Addition Lands but Turner is by far my favorite. Bought a lifted Side by Side and now I can really get back in there. Did you go in on Concho Billie off Turner River Road?
Oh yeah I’ve stomped all over Turner river and bear island. More turner river. I’ve been fishing out there since I was a little kid. Unfortunately the bass fishing just isn’t the same anymore. I’m building a buggy right now so I can get far out like you, building it specifically to get threw for concho Billie, treaded it almost chest deep one time and don’t want to be stopped by it’s depth at times. You can check out my build in some of my other videos. Still posting mores as the build progresses
I seriously regret not buying this when it was listed on marketplace awhile ago, such a sick rig!
Story of my life on marketplace lol definitely should have scooped it, it was on there for a minute but had to wait for the right buy who knew what they were getting.
I see the jungle in the background is still a jungle lol. 👍
Always changing but always a jungle, you know I love my plants! 🌴
So cool man. Funny what this year is bringing us so far. I'm starting to put Aquarium videos out. I'm definitely not as comfortable in front of the camera like you but I'll get better as time comes n more videos are made. Y'all plan to do any Bass fishing videos?
I just gave you a follow! I’m still not a fan of being in fron of the camera but I’m workin on it. Also we wouldn’t be true Florida explorers on this page without some bass fishing
I am a proud mama to see my boys do the kiss & release 😘
Learned from the best 💚
Now I need one thanks lol
Hahaha that’s how I felt when I first experienced one. There a ton of fun and will get you places you’d never expect to go!
Thanks bro 🤙🏼 keep up the good work, always a pleasure fishing with you .. more videos coming #2023 .. special thanks again to Brian and Heidi Floyd with @floydskiffco for building such an amazing boat 👌🏼 .. ✌🏼😎🐟🐟
Yes sir! Always great getting out there with you too! Only the beginning!
There’s a lt25 with a 90 somewhere on the gheenoe forum, think it’s long gone lol. Never less, slick setup
I bet that thing is a rocket! Appreciate it. Follow for more videos of hitting the water and the woods!
G'day buggy is looking good 👍
Appreciate it! Can’t wait to finally get it in the woods but taking my time to get it right and get footage of the process! Thanks for the support to keep grinding 🇺🇸
G'day from NSW Australia just found your channel and subbed mate. I been looking for a swamp buggy build
That’s amazing, I’ve wanted to make it down there since I was a little kid! Really appreciate the follow. More videos coming soon, working on edits for one to post this week. Really appreciate the follow.
