It could be the Bluetooth has been turned off. Since I'm not sure what light you are using, here are instructions for turning it back on with all of our lights. Fiddle Hold the switch button for 3 - 5 seconds to turn the Bluetooth on or off. i. The Bluetooth icon will disappear if turned off, or reappear when turned on. ViolaM2 Hold the mode button (smaller red button) for 3+ seconds to turn the Bluetooth on and off. i. If the Bluetooth is off, the icon will show a triangle sign with a “ ! “ in the middle. ii. If the Bluetooth is on, the icon will have a dot moving back and forth until connected. Cello Hold the mode button (smaller red button) for 3+ seconds. i. If the Bluetooth is turned off, the icon will disappear ii. If the Bluetooth is turned on, the Icon will reappear Timpani & Taiko The Bluetooth can be turned on and off in the menu.

Hey Tony, Yep, there is. This has been one of the main requests for the Taiko, and we've been hard at work on extension cables. They should be available in the next 3 months.

Thanks for reaching out. From what you're describing, it sounds like you haven't tightened the allen set screws in the yoke slide. Please double-check that they've been tightened correctly. And as for the diffuser, please double-check that you've not been putting it in upside down or in the wrong slot. If the issue still persists, please contact customer service at info@gradusgroup.com so we can get to the bottom of it.

@@LuxliLights unfortunately I have tighten everything I could and the problem still persists when it keeps sliding back down. Also the diffuser is in the right way and no matter what I do it will not sit flush. I’ll have to contact customer service tomorrow and figure out what’s wrong

@@LuxliLights I have spoken to them and they told me to speak to bh photo where I purchased it. I’m in the process of getting an exchange and hoping I don’t get the same issues

Yep, as long as the amperage is within spec you're good to go. Each battery needs to be able to draw 10amp minimum.

Hi Curis, You can’t really make light with a brown color. Just dimmed-down orange/red basically. The closest we have is the “Chocolate” gel filter that’s built in.

Hi Prince HWC, On the contrary: it is *highly* advisable to upgrade your Luxli lights to the latest firmware. Regarding your situation: It sounds like you had some issues with upgrading your original Viola. We apologize for that. We've greatly improved our bootloader since the original Viola came out in 2016. But please feel free to reach out to customer service at info @gradusgroup.com so we can better figure out the issue in your individual case. Thank you

@@LuxliLights Thanks for confirming. Is it correct to assume that if I use the same settings on a Cello and Timpani grouped together that they will also play in sync? I really like the output and light quality of my Luxli Cello, but adding a Timpani would be a bit more effective for more applications.

@@LuxliLights If you are already reaching out, I may as well add in to my wish list the ability to set scene fade ins, so you could have the scene change and also fade in or out over time, like say you want to go from a warm glow to a cold blue, now it just jumps from one setting to the other (color/brightness), but being able to fade in and out of cards (settings, favorite) would be amazing

@@StephenEastwood Stephen, thanks for sending this! We always love hearing fresh ideas we may not have thought of yet. There’s a new mode for dimming transitions that’s in beta at the moment. We’re going to finalize that after the holidays (we’re in the middle of a couple of big developments at the moment), but the option is available in the newest version of the composer app. As for transitioning from one color to another: we're currently working on it, but as there are many ways to accomplish it--some of which are better than others--we're currently trying to find the best one. @@LuxliLights B&H has great customer service, so I presume they can advise you about purchasing a light for delivery to Germany. Act quickly, as B&H currently has a 2019 NAB special price on the light and diffusion soft box. The Cello exceeds my expectations, so I highly recommend it.

Hi Shawn, Thanks for reaching out. When it comes to Android devices, since there are so many different manufacturers using so many different types of hardware in their devices, it varies wildly from device to device. When we tested it, on some devices we were only able to control 3, while on others we were able to control as many as 5 or 6. With iOS, we have been able to control 9 Violas simultaneously. The standardized and tightly controlled hardware on the iPhones means there is no big difference between phones. Hope this helps.

Mainly the Cello. As a side note, I could REALLY use a few units in between the Timpani and Cello. Any plans to bridge that? I'm just afraid the Cello won't be as versatile as I need it to be.

Clint D'Souza yes, it is! All the way from 3000K to 10000K, in fact. Each Luxli Cello also gets its own calibration Photometric report in the box for that serial numbered unit that shows its performance. We have nothing to hide, and are happy to share how hard we worked to create the Cellos.

Luxli Lights Nice! I know the 5" had TLCI drop as the Kelvin temp went up. Are those getting a fix like the 10"?
