Butt, Half Lap, Miters & Shooting Boards
This guy knows what he’s talking about!
hey, good stuff -- love the #19 1/2" brad nails idea!
What size blade are you using?
Is there a way to get plans for the beautiful Bombay Box? It would be greatly appreciated. Great video and I learned a lot. Thanks for the priceless tips.
Painters tape on the surface before adhering the pattern with spray glue is ideal to avoid having to remove glue residue after cutting. Also, cutting the outside shape of pattern before cutting the back makes more sense. I make sure the back and front wood surfaces are sanded with 320 before starting my cuts; eliminating extra sanding is critical, otherwise, you'll be eating dust after the cuts on an irregular surface.
Is that a 3/16” bandsaw blade?
Very useful information and presentation. Would not have considered Bondo .
Loved your presentation. Thanks.

I didn’t know that end grain would do that on a planer. Guess I haven’t tried it but will try to remember that tip.
