problem with it's battery box is that it fits perfectly only duracell 9volt batteries .. it's a bit tight for other brands
I’ve got a brand of rechargeable 9V that are a tad loose, so I folded up a small piece of paper and stuffed it behind the battery. Works great.
I replaced my E2 syatem on ny K24ce. with Lr Baggs Anthem this is worse pick up ever
I have only recently picked up the K24ce builders edition and the noise form your fingers moving on the string and changing chords is louder than the chords and notes themselves
i need
Calm and rational discussion -- that's a survival skill! So glad it turned out well!
Id love to know the context, boat type, time date etc. Did you post this to the watertribe FB? Been doing some planning for my own EC attempt next year so anything you can add about what you learned would be excellent
17’ monohull RS Venture. It was basically a knockdown under full sail in heavy wind. Think the gust may have been around 30kn. Important thing is to know your boat and practice your recovery. Know what you are going to do under adverse conditions.
Yes we had a mast float. The heavy wind and moving water overcame it in sinking but I do believe it allowed us to raise it from turtle. Yes we stopped soon after but not because of this.
Must have been pretty intense. Would you use a masthead float next time? Were both capsizes in daylight? Did you give up on the challenge? Thanks for posting.
Hi , I want to ask . how do I reduce the sound high of the ES B so it's not too sharp?
On the bridge, there are 3 small hexagonal adjustment screws. Try to adjust the screw nearest to the high strings to reduce the volume and compare
@@romeovelasco4151in which way do I have to turn these screws? And how many turns?
Go to a music store. Grab two Taylors with the ES2 system off the wall. Put your ear to the bridge. Strum a chord and mute it. Odds are you'll hear a nasty high pitched ring. I've ordered 8 Taylors (3 AD12e, 2 314ce, 1 324ce, 1 224ce-K DLX, 1 312ce 12-fret). One AD12e and the 224ce-K DLX are the only ones that don't have this problem. Unfortunately the one AD12e also came from the factory with a cracked back and all notes on the 10th fret are choked and have zero sustain. The only truly quality Taylor I've played with this ES2 system is the Mexican made 224ce-K DLX. So much for USA quality.
i install one of these pickups, had to make my own hex key, theyre not a normal size grub screw
Omg you cut that Taylor in half 😢
Is there a fused ground lead on es2 ? Can anybody verify that there isn't an accessible fuse in the es2 . THANKS
No
@@Hosler53 thanks for replying David . I think I kind of used a double negative. So to clarify CX there isn't the replacement fuse like the earlier es pick ups ? Thanks Richard
Would shimming the saddle effect the pickup? other than just needing to be re adjusted?
Who was he talking about at 0:06?
Brilliant idea! Worthy addition to the best engineered guitars in the world :-)
too bad the drums drown out so much.
I want one!!
I've lost all respect for Taylor now.
thats one hell of a view!!!!, wouldn't mind waking up to that myself :)
