Yay! Finally a Pen Test on the new Moleskine. One suggestion, write the name of the pen instead or in addition to the color. It would be very helpful. Thank you so much it is very much appreciated! So many complain paper is not the same last year and this year but I did not find them trying different Pens/markers! Last night I just received 2 large classic notebooks one hardcover and one softcover both were manufactured in Ecuador. I am waiting for daylight LOL to open and do pen tests. I have been considering a daily pocket planner. Where was your's manufactured? I have insomnia and have been watching videos in the middle of the night 🤣. Still haven't fallen to sleep and now it is 0700 :( but so happy to come upon your video finally! I was just watching another video that said it is not only the color, but the image on the quality control that can differ. Thank you so much for your pen test. I was watching a video showing how the Tombows did not work well in some Moleskines, but they did not try another any other brands of marker. thanks again

I have a few personal ring planners. I wish I could get them to work for me but they just don’t. I also tried the download pages and it takes to much time for me. I would buy already made pages. I love looking and videos of ring planners but they just don’t work for me. I’ve been using a commit planner and that what I’ll continue to use. Thank you for the video!

I keep my Moleskine weekly in a deringed filofax pocket and it's great <3 I love these pocket notebooks so much!

I just found one in my closet that has literally NOTHING written in it. Could believe it. It’s such a perfect size. Great paper. Grid (my preference). And numbered pages 🤯 I’m pretty loyal to my Midori MD paper now, but I really can’t figure out why I didn’t use this. Would be a perfect commonplace

If I could give you a million likes, I would. You are going to help a lot of people avoid or at least make better decisions about their planner choices. I’ve learned to write out the purpose of the planners I’ve chosen and it does help. Waiting and cooling off from the excitement before diving in is prudent. Another thing to consider is where you are in life: student, employee, parent, homeschooler, retiree, volunteer, caregiver etc etc, will help determine what type of system is best. The storage of all the planners over the years is something to consider. We like to keep our memories, but having space for storage over time can become an issue, especially if you want to simplify and declutter your life. ❤

I totally get it. I have been crafting all my life so have lots of craft tools and skills, so for me I knew when I got my first Filofax that I would make at least some of the inserts and dividers myself. One thing I am not making myself is the dated diary/calendar inserts. I just can't be bothered with designing them from scratch, although I know you can find free downloads online. Thanks for sharing your insights! I have always liked this "nude" colour of the Original. The black and midnight blue are stunning too.

That's why i like ring planners- you don't have to constantly buy the new planner/notebook, you just switch the pages in it and continue using it how you wish. Btw, a lot of people don't buy any inserts, they buy the cheap notebooks and cut the pages out if them. You could cut your A6 hobonichies and weeks and put them in your ring planners too
