Hello and Welcome to The Karavali Wok ,
I am Smitha Ravi - a Food blogger and youtuber by Passion :) I am a Mangalorean, based in AbuDhabi.
The Karavali Wok is a collection of all my favorite recipes that are quick to whip up and easy to make. From traditional Mangalorean recipes and middle eastern recipes to decadent bakes and indulgent desserts, there’s something here for everyone! Mango Makhana Kheer
Ingredients
1 tsp ghee
1 cup Makhana (Lotus seeds / fox nuts)
1 liter whole milk
1/4 cup blanched almond slices
a pinch of saffron strands dipped in warm milk (optional)
1/2 tsp cardamom powder
1/4 cup sugar (adjust according to sweetness of mangoes)
1 cup mango chopped
