King Tide Pismo Freeride

The Fall Freeride dates landed on King Tide this year! Epic overhead surf all weekend long. Friday was crystal clear but we got some fog and showers saturday / sunday. Some of the most epic surf I have seen at Pismo, massive overhead swells closed down the entire beach entrance each day. Glad I got to shred, 10/10 would pee in wetsuit again. dicks out 4 Harambe.

Pismo Flips, Surf and Bails

Last time I was out at Pismo, got some nice surf riding and some great bails on film. Nosed in a backflip pretty decent, almost had had an accidental 1 footed roll, got blown off my ski on a backflip attempt, bailed off the side in the shallows... good times!

Pismo Spring Break Freeride 2014

Gettin deep in some surf at the Pismo Freeride this year. Great weather, great waves, great people! Was a super fun event. I even landed my first barrel roll out there! Cant wait to go back and shred some more!

Pismo Barrel Rolls

Started trying barrel rolls at pismo for the first time, almost got all the way around on first try so I started hucking it harder! Im really close, just need to stick that landing!! It was a beautiful sunny day at Pismo Beach, no wind at all and some nice sets rolling thru. Cant wait to get back out and try some more, Ill try some backside rolls next time.
Testing my new RRP pole

Installed a new Blowsion dual breather lowered bracket, billet RRP pole and a front foothold over the past week. Got a chance to try it out on some small stuff in the bay. My center of gravity is way tighter now and it handles like a dream haha.

Last time out in the bay I just started hucking it and this happened. First time I ever tried rolling and damn, gettin upside down felt pretty sweet. I wana try some more so bad, next time out at Pismo Im going to make this happen.
SF Bay Jetski Session

At the bay practicing nose stabs on the superjet, getting pretty close. Awesome conditions with like 14mph wind and nice 3 ft rollers popping up everywhere. I got stabbed in the gut with my handle bars again, need a rrp pole really bad.
Submarines at Camp Far West

Jetski clips from a couple different trips to Camp Far West. A couple submarines and a failed stab attempt. I got better at stabs during the second trip, just didnt get any on film :( The ending is pretty funny, I sub too hard and fly over the bars haha.

i grew up old skool on a 550 back in the 90's . i did the 1st aerial 180 off a wave on ft lauderdale fl during an ijsba freestlye event , next event rick roy(rickter) was going higher and no hander , he got all the credit , sux !

(but i'd love for there to be no red sticker law, then we could have some newer bikes to ride year round.) i live in tracy, so i get out to carnegie 3 to 4 times a week during the times when it stays light later, and almost every weekend during the winter even. you make it out there often? really cool jetski vids you've got too by the way. cool stuff. subscribed. maybe see you out there sometime. i'll be there first thing tomorrow morning on my dr for an hour or so. cheers!

How long have you had ur ski, I have the same ski but I can't decide on geting white hydro Turk, because I'm afraid of fading
White hydro turf holds up great! My turf must be 3 years old now and still looks awesome! It gets salty and sandy all the time and still looks great. Only thing to look out for is mud or grease will stain the turf, but you can get it out most of the time with some scrubbing and a degreaser. Rust is also really bad and hard to get out. White turf is great though, just need to be a bit cautious.

Its a FR2 Evo1 he uses for surf comps, but this vid we were just fooling around in the bay.

Ah, its called a pole limiting rope. It actually saves you from over extending the pole forward and breaking the pole or mount. They are 100% necessary, just in case you face plant and fly over the pole, Ive had a couple of those hahaha.

This is at Lake Shasta. If I remember correctly, the Dam is on the far eastern side of the lake down the eastern most finger. Its a bit of a long ride to get out to the dam, but its really sweet over there and super cold!
