BM parts too expensive and easily spoilt

I have a question, please. Mine is a 2011 520D with Move maps and CIC. When I download and extract, the folder name is "road map Europe West" but when I plug into the port, it does not detect or show any prompts. The stick is 16GB, formatted to FAT32. Can you please help?

It is also quite a coincidence that all the concerted doom and gloom articles, reporting and propaganda on EVs in the Western media coincided with and followed the first news that China is leading or had won the EV and green tech fields. Its so sudden and immediate that its comical. By the way, despite all the negative press and cajoling on EVs being expensive and environmentally damaging, the same articles seem to conveniently forget that (1) ICE cars have way wat higher costs in periodic maintenance, wear and tear repairs and refueling costs over the ICE car's lifetime vs an EV, where the major cost occurs at the EV's end of life battery swap. With so much less moving parts, an overhaul of EVs for a new lease of life would technically be less costly than a ICE if there is economics of scale. Just read the price comparisons of the EV battery swap in the West vs the same in China, then you will understand the so called cost factor (2 )As for environmental damage. Sure, EV production entails environmental damage from mining and battery production. But if you have considered the facts and weighed the cost/benefit, you will find that such impacts are during the EVs production cycle, and its impact is isolated/localised and at a few time points. Production of ICE cars aren't that much more environmentally friendly, and the mining for and production of petrol fuel fares worse than mining for materials for batteries. And worse of all, ICE cars continue to damage the environment DAILY when it is used. So its a pretty much straight forward calculus, ICE vehicles or EVs?

With China and the Chinese adopting EVs in droves, the business model and resale model of EVs will emerge, these include a year on year fall in battery prices and also modes such as rent a battery (even for cars). While developing cleaner battery manufacturing year on year. Just read the number of universities and industrial reports in China working on these areas. The Chinese are more cost conscious than the Americans and European EV manufacturers are ever. In the USA. For the West, the capitalist moves into EVs its more about marketing, profits and engineered obsolesce. i.e. just read about how the inflation reduction act green industry funding, how it was spent by the Americans In contrast, China sees EV as their ticket for future prosperity and an existential threat to their future if the world is wreaked by climate change. In short, they can't have their billions of Chinese citizens live like the Americans and Europeans, who continue to destroy the earth with their per capita emissions. It is mission critical for China to find a way to seek greener technologies while at the same time make these technologies feasible to current norms such as resale value etc
