    Curious. Why go for a seatbelt vs a four point when the bodylock is more secure to get their hips to the mat.

    • @ThatNickSalles
      @ThatNickSalles Місяць тому

      I would say if you started from a rear body lock, feel free to break them down with double unders- you just won’t be able to hit this back take which is pretty high percentage However the context I gave was vs a wrestling up opponent. If they wrap a single leg, its hard to convert to double unders vs just taking what’s there

    Great video, thank you for sharing ! From what I understand you like to change your head position and underhook side if you pass from the leg weave side or the high tripod with leg pummeling, right ? Can I just pick a side for the head and underhook and go back and forth between the 2 sides of passing ?

    • @ThatNickSalles
      @ThatNickSalles 4 місяці тому

      @@piquitomonoloco so the ability to maintain that frame on the back shoulder is going depend entirely on your alignment. When we talk about our frames being “sticky” or not, it usually comes down to the position of our bodies (in relation to our opponent) and the structure of our frame (stacking our skeletal structure vs. flaring our knee and using our muscles to activate). Lastly, the other thing is keeping the pulling and pushing forces in harmony- if you apply too much framing pressure with that foot (essentially “kicking” them) you are essentiallly assisting your foot in getting swiped off. An additional detail is where our foot is placed on the lever (this can range from shoulder all the way down to the elbow) 🙏🏼 But from my experience, when you keep these things in mind, its really difficult for them to remove that foot
