Air show - 1960s Cine film transfer with audio - UK air show - Farnborough, Gatwick and Brussels.
Created by my late grandfather, Stan Kocyan. He would have filmed and recorded the audio. The narrator is unknown to me. Filmed sometime in the 1960s. The narrator mentions that Concorde should be seen later that year - 1969 was Concorde's first flight, although I think this is earlier than that.
The inlay with the cine film mentions these airports - Farnborough, Brussels & Gatwick. So footage could be from any. I have a feeling that the commercial jet footage at the beginning is either Gatwick or Brussels and the air show is Farnborough.
I digitised the audio from its original tape reel using an Akai 4000DS and cleaned it up in Audacity. The 8mm cine film was transferred by Excelsior Studios, Crawley.
I then used Adobe Premier Pro to edit the audio and video together.

Water supply on. Water slowly leaking from top of fill valve. It was faulty - the supplier changed it for me.

Piaggio X7 300 Driven Shaft Noise - This is normal. Demonstration to show what happens when the transmission casing is removed. The transmission casing has a bearing and nut for the driven shaft to prevent it from moving in and out. When I rotate the rear wheel the shaft is able to move and causes that gear noise that you hear in this video.

Fascinating, thank you! My guess is that it might be 1964, when BUA was taking delivery of its first BAC/Vickers VC10 (Type 1103, G-ASIW), and BAC 1-11s

Lovely video, showing how new and exciting Crawley was in those days. I'm guessing that the site on which the leisure centre was built is now where the K2 is.
An update to anyone buying this item in 2021, I purchased a Genuine Nissan Part and it is now the exact same part as the Suzuki with a hard plastic frame and a new plastic front cover.

There is no problem! Turning the rubber up, this sound comes, normal drive disappears when the shaft drives a wheel!
You're right that there is no problem. I've updated the description, as my comment explaining what happens is being missed. Thanks for reminding me that I needed to do this!

It was faulty - the supplier changed it for me.
What was the price difference?
The Suzuki filter was about 15% more. Not bad considering the rigid plastic design compared to the non-rigid Nissan item and you also get the replacement door.
