My local trail and I love it. Far better now many of the trees have been removed.
Only the second time I’ve ridden here.
@@MTBLou I’m sure you’ll be back😉
Nice one sister! Greeting for MA USA. Where is this?
Watchwood in England
wow nice view..
Looks like you all had fun and looks like they’ve improved some of the trails since I was last there 🤟
Was better than I thought rick
Great vid ,glad you had a good day 😊..feel free to give the vid a share on the group 👍
Fantastic day out, really good fun 😀👌🏽
Tune 👌🏽
Great place isn't it ,there is a lot more there too if you know where to look ,if you join The Rides group and come along when we next pop a Watchwood ride on 👍
Yeah it’s so much fun. We’re there again in a couple of weeks hopefully 🤞🏻 I’ve joined the group, thanks.
Hi mum
Looks awesome 🤩
It was fantastic, can’t wait to go back!
Strangely edited video. You could easily get the impression that it's a 30 mile downhill. Done this route and it certainly does have some tough climbs!
Not much fun filming the uphills though 🤨
😂
I must get myself over to Whinlatter for another blast. Nice video. Cheers. Stoozer. (New Sub). 👍🏻
Sorry only just seen this to reply, great place to ride, enjoy!
@@MTBLou No need to apologise p[al. Cheers. Stoozer. 👍🏻
Do you feel guilty for waking that sheep from its lovely sunny afternoons nap 😂😂😂
No 😆
Hi there. Great channel 👍. I live not far from Osmotherley and I would love to have a go at this circular route. Can I just ask you where you started from?
Hi 👋 thanks, started from osmotherley village. There’s a link to the route in the comments. Enjoy!
another nice vid👍 love Rosedale! I couldn't work out where you went after the lion? I would normally go towards westerdsle and rudland rigg or fryup to the cycle hub! looks like you went east? could you post the route please😊
Thanks Davo Yes the singletrack across the moors starts (signposted as a bridleway) about 3-400m on the right (east) after the Lion Inn It’s another route taken from Pedalnorth: pedalnorth.com/rosedale-ramble/
@@MTBLou yes I know that bit that cuts the corner off onto knott road, it's year since I did the off road bit to the east of Rosedale! Last time I was there it was an absolute bog fest! I noticed the single-track just disappears to nothing in places! Lol. What's the battery life like on the orbea? What's the biggest ride you've done in mileage and climbing?
@@david1519 sorry I was logged in as MTB Lou then by mistake, it’s me Tubby replying 😆 I’m a heavy guy and not as fit as I could be. That ride was around 22 miles and 2000ft elevation and I still had around 30% battery left, rode most of it in Eco. Louise is much lighter and fitter, rode it in trail and had 50% battery left In general I’d say you’d easily get 25-30 miles depending on fitness and modes used. I have a full fat Bosch powered full suss too with a 625W battery but much prefer riding the Rise
And yes we’ve done that route before in the winter and it was a nightmare bog fest. Bone dry at present
@@TubbyMTB I've got a specialized kenevo expert and I managed 36 miles and 3000 ft of climbing last week in the Scottish Highlands! The bike is a tank! Lol, like a DH rig with a motor!. Would be nice to try something that rides lighter without compromising on range.
Do you have any gpx files for your rides they look great
They’re from the Pedalnorth website: pedalnorth.com/peak-district-mountain-bike-routes/
@@TubbyMTB thanks for that will have a look. Happy riding
@@samwomersley3487 The Ladybower loop was great, highly recommend
@@TubbyMTB will give it a go well we have some good weather
Nice 🤟 looks really good, fast and not too technical. Might need to get there one day.
It’s super fast jumps and gaps, no tech but very fun 🤘🏻
Hardtails can rip their way around it Slym 👊🏼
Is it Wharncliffe woods you rode ? Seen you did Ladybower loop too, definitely on my list now i got the buzzrack 🤣
@@Slymobi Grenoside is right next to Wharncliffe, Grenoside is maintained trails, Wharncliffe insane steep off piste 👊🏼
Looks awesome
You would love it Ste, it’s a massive table & gap jump line with huge berm’s, the speed it runs is crazy.
I'm enjoying this channel because it's my kind of riding in the area I love! Plus it's nice to see someone else's route which is a bit different to mine. I noticed rudland Rigg but there were some bits that I didn't recognise, any chance of a link to this route please?
Glad you’re enjoying it Davo, we like riding the moors in dry & sunny conditions for the views and sense of ‘freedom’ ! It’s another Pedalnorth route: pedalnorth.com/rudland-rigg-2/ The climb up Rudland Rigg was quite techy, otherwise it’s all simple bridleways and a fair bit of country lanes
@@TubbyMTB nice one! Usually start from Hutton so that bit from Kirkby to gillamoor is new to me👍
@@david1519 there’s a steep muddy section leading up to Gillamor that’ll test your grip and stamina!
@@TubbyMTB specialized kenevo expert in turbo! No problem! Lol🤣🤣🤣
I know the Osmotherley area pretty well but I just can't place that section @18 secs with the slabs on the trail?
It’s the Cleveland Way, and also a bridleway for that section, so ok for bikes. Near Cod Beck Reservoir
@@TubbyMTB so it's the BW on the left hand side of the road north out of osmo! Starts as a side road on tarmac upto a metal gate?
@@david1519 Yes, exactly there. A bridleway route through a few gates and then you come to the gated junction where walkers take the Cleveland Way towards Osmo, that’s where the descent starts. We were lucky to have it free of walkers, it’s usually much busier. I’ll post the route, hang on …
This is the route, it’s really easy: pedalnorth.com/osmotherley-introduction/
@@TubbyMTB nice one mate! I normally do it the other way from square corner and go DH into scugdale👍
Just found your channel and was showing my wife your riding. We were so sorry to see you fall. Hope you weren't hurt too much. :-)
Thanks, I’ve only been riding a few months, accidents are all part of it when you push yourself abit too much, I had a couple of weeks rest due to injury but all good now & back on the bike.
@@MTBLou Great to hear that. You are riding well for just a few months experience. You have inspired my wife to give it a go. :-)
@@mickgarbutt3553 that’s lovely to hear, I’ve subscribed to your channel so look forward to seeing the videos & hopefully see you out on the trails.
Do you have a strava profile would like to try some of your routes thanks..
My local trails 🤘 I'm currently looking at buying this bike what's your thoughts on it please, good and bad, love the idea of the light ebike 😎
Absolutely love the rise, came from a full fat hardtail, this bike is a different league
Looks really good. I've never been. Worth going to?
Yes. On a sunny day Sutton Bank has some of the finest views in Yorkshire. It’s an easy XC trail with a couple of steep climbs and a nice red downhill section. The blue downhill is fun too
Great video - we also filmed our ride round Gisburn Forest. It would be great if you could also have a look at ours on our UA-cam page. Thanks, Andrew
Just subscribed got a e trail bike last year they are great fun look forward to more videos
Brilliant, thanks 😊
