The ariens from the big box stores are like the john deere mowers from the big box stores. In the past No snow blower beat an Ariens. Not sure about how it is in 2025

They both beat my shovel for moving snow. On the other hand mine is quieter. 🙂

Honda is a superior machine but they are very pricey. I have a Ariens compact 24 and its been a great little blower. I don't think anyone would be disappointed with either.

First one shot it out there better, without stuggle, second one seemed more volume but without the power to throw better and could hear it struggle more. Id want first one!

I just bought an HSS1332A 2 months ago and got $2,000 off that buying a HRC216, as we tossed out our older mower out. Pulled the trigger on the mower as I heard Honda is eliminating their gas lawnmower and single stage snowblowers. Going all electric. I'm set for the rest of my life now. The HSS1332A is an absolute monster, ❤️ 😍 it so much. I toss snow into the next area code. Lol. Can't wait till spring to use my HRC216, it's the best mower on the market. Just ask all the lawncare professionals. 😉

They really need to make stronger engines for snowblowers

The Honda won but it's not a fair comparison because both machines aren't equipped with the same amount of engine power. Ariens has a 32 inch machine with a 420cc engine on it. That would be a more comparable machine in terms of size and power is concerned.

leathermans actually have fully interchangeable parts, and a very friendly company. if you send your leatherman into the company, they will replace the part for free and send it back. great company makes amazing stuff. my fav was the one called leatherman Tool

Definitely the right blower for the job. Blowers are sometimes used two or three times a year. But, when you need them, you NEED them. That's why i only run non ethanol gas and synthetic oil to be sure that I've done the best i can do for mine.

Brings back memories. I’m pretty glad I’m in an apartment rn, it’s therapeutic to snowblow/mow the lawn sometimes but I hated need long to wake up incredibly early just so I can clear a path to drive to work
