    Don't know what history you are reading up on but flooding has been going on for thousands of years as we humans have always built our villages and homes near water. Egyptians use to farm on sediment from the yearly Nile river floods as the sediment was rich in nutrients. The Mississippi and Susquehanna rivers both flood so often [and long before "Global Warming" was even an issue, like perhaps in the 1800's] that government officials commonly build temporary dams and even large 30 foot tall berms to try and control the water. Please, you you want to sell your product, use facts. Don't try to use fear tactics to get a quick sell.

      Mike Ayers Perhaps it's talking about Flooding in the UK?

    • @rascalpup5237
      @rascalpup5237 7 років тому

      Still not a new thing, not even for the UK. In fact, Some records that I found are about a flood in the 14'th century, known as the Saint Marcellus' flood, that took nearly 25,000 lives. So implying that floods are brand new and never been dealt with before is just false. Note again, I am not talking about their product here. I do not know how well it works, nor have I ever tried the product. But as someone who has been responsible for protecting lives during major storms, for instance, Super-storm Sandy and Hurricane Irene, I would not trust a product from a company who falsifies information to make a sale. To me, this is a sales tactic that tries to capitalize on fear in order to get an impulse buy for a situation that could be managed better with other products.

      you're right about the fact that it is a thing existing from before out times. However, the power of a flooding is vastly increased nowadays because more of the soil is "locked" by buildings and streets and so on. warmer temperatures also increase the removal of snow, creating bigger flows in rivers, making stronger floods then were likely to ever happen in the earlier centuries.
