coming to the conclusion GMC is just garbage. i have a 2000 sierra with a P0300 code. have replaced plugs, coils, wires, 02 sensors, knock sensors, fuel injectors, fuel lines, fuel filter, fuel pump, EGR, and next move is the cats... and now im getting codes on parts i've already replaced (mainly the 02 sensors and knock sensors) $1700 truck, already have another $1200 in parts in it and the problems are just as bad as the day i bought it. starting to run out of ideas on what may be causing the issue and seriously considering putting 10lbs of tannerite in it and sending it to truck hell where it belongs.

So mine started doing that but it’s in the outer edge and not that big should I go ahead and get a new roater or?

That’s not the belts fault and that’s not a normal thing take the belt off spin all your pulleys check for movement more importantly check what pulley is out of line you can use a string a laser etc most likely your harmonic balancer is deteriorating check the crankshafts harmonic balancer for cracks around the rubber

Just gave away a ranger to a friend. Had it for years. The fan shroud was gone so it sounded like a blown turbo. Called it the turbo ranger (because of the sound and lack there of a turbo) it was a 2001 3.0 auto. Best memories of high school were in a ranger.
