➡️jbooster is a new member of the community as until very recently we had no idea that he is Czech. He released two levels this year, one of which is XtC, which got rated a month ago and the other is this one. IMPULSE is still unrated as of me writing this description despite, in my opinion, being the better level of the two. I think the decoration is a nice mix of traditional glow designs and more raw unpolished ideas scattered throughout making for a very interesting feel that I quite enjoy. The level starts off with some wavy movements in the foreground and on the structures which are nice, but nothing grounbreaking. However, the first drop wave is where the level properly picks up with a high intensity gameplay and movements. I'm a big fan of the eye designs in this wave, mostly the big one that sometimes sticks out of the background to add to the intensity. After that comes the ending part which features a huge spiral in the background that totally destroys the bitrate as you've probably noticed.
I'd advise anyone interested to try and play the level for themselves to see it in full quality since it's basically impossible to notice all the details with the UA-cam bitrate. Also note that this recording is NOT legit!! The spiral part had noticeable frame drops for me on full detail which would not look good in the video of course. I did spend a lot of time playing the level though to get a good feel for how it plays and I think that the beginning and ending are both decent to play, but the wave flows incredibly. Doing the full wave in one run is very satisfying to pull off. I'm hoping that this level can get rated as well and that jbooster continues to make great levels in the future!
