Cool video, it would have been good to mention since this is a part of a wild West series that Maxwells daughter was speculated to be a lover of Billy the Kid and that Billy the Kid was killed in the home of Maxwells son Pete. Also yes, the town of Maxwell is named after him and another thing is I see your last name is Jaramillo. 2 of Maxwells daughters married Jaramillos so there is a good chance that you could descend or be related to Maxwell. I personally am 6th cousins 4 times removed with him.

Gramps actually used to escape from the ceiling, the tin over his cell wasn’t secured so that’s how he slipped out of jail. He used to tell us a lot of stories about that jail. The most famous one is when he got into a fight at the Kit Carson and the cops took him to jail and he immediately escaped and made it back to the dance before the cops got back over there. Our great grandma used to take him fresh cooked meals while he was locked up too. Hit up the elders and your cousins. Gramps used to tell a lot of stories, it could be helpful for your content.
