I would suggest not buying this mower until they work out all of the bugs. Right now, it leaves a row of uncut grass between zones. It leaves over a 6" gap between the mower and the edging or home walls. It loses satellite signals constantly.

Can the floor sensors be buried? Or must they remain on the surface?

I enjoyed this. I hadn't gotten a look of the 550 EPOS inside. Only looked at the spare parts diagrams of it. But the wheels being different heights doesn't make so much sense. I looked at the spare parts numbers and apart from the last number the 550 EPOS wheel matches with the 330X/early 430X wheels. I thought the 500-series came standard with the "terrain kit", with the wheels having fewer but higher knobs. But, what's mounted on these two at least, it seems to be the reverse. Btw for old 450X etc. the terrain wheels weigh the same, but for the NERA the terrain kit have heavier wheels for its terrain kit (like the smaller mower's have). It's 459 grams more per wheel so the mower gets 918 grams heavier. NERA also have built in wheel brush holders so it's just to go and by the brushes (same as for smaller series) and pluck in, from the access hatches at the top. I've been using wheel brushes for a few years and it's really good.

Who did you hire to install this thing? He butchered that fence. If he would have taken an extra 15 minute he could have made that way better looking. At least give the guy a pencil.
