Core Drilling Concrete core drilling or "coring" is the process of drilling perfectly round holes through concrete walls, floors and other concrete structures. We are able to core small holes such as 1" as well as larger cores such as 30". We have cored in everything from damns to commercial buildings. We use high performance drills both hydraulic and electric and use only the best core bits.

    Such a thin wall. You can make it much faster with hand-held tool 12-16" blade cut off saw.

    • @billy909420
      @billy909420 3 роки тому

      Obviously you haven't used a hand saw on a wall cut for an opening have you?. You could never have that straight of a cut.. That was a 6 to 8 inch wall.. A 16" blade on a handsaw might get you 5 and a 1/2.

    • @whitelex
      @whitelex 3 роки тому

      @@billy909420 My point is to use hand-held saw where you can. It makes things faster than setting up a big saw. But if it's 6-8 inch wall I won't argue. The wall just looked thin when I first saw the video. But you did a nice job anyways!

    the pentruder rocks out. but this dumb ass didn't trail his arm he pushed it. then set anchors on the out side of opening. so what if you have to make a left hand cut you can step away, not like he's running a 360. then put a 30" blade on for a 6 in wall.

    • @PGCutter
      @PGCutter 10 років тому

      Hello Ogar, it depends on the material and thickness of the wall. If the material is brittle or thin, it can be done with a hand drill or you can mount the machine with a thru bolt, securing it from the back side. Feel free to send me specifics and a picture or two to my email if you want. juan.garcia@pgcutting.com

    • @mikewiththebluecar
      @mikewiththebluecar 9 років тому

      Yeah a great trick with that set up is to mount a piece of unistrut or angle iron to the wall and cut about 1 1/2" deep just to get your straight line. It beats just going handheld with no guide. I've cut many openings that were absolutely perfect that way. No deflections, perfectly straight. They looked like they were wall sawed.
