As I said, in one of your other videos, this little one, reminds me of the Paraguayan harp, not so much in size, but in the tonal quality of the strings. They also tune theirs in F major as yours is.

Yes! Yes! Yes! You're playing in different positions and noticing the difference in tone, like when you're closer to one end vs the other. Sometimes it's a brighter sound, and sometimes it's a richer, sort of square wave sound. I'm feeling *the energy.* If I knew you had the time, I'd explain to you the energy from my perspective. Okay, so commenting on a UA-cam video doesn't make me nervous, so that part is easy. But I am anxious some of the time, and sad some of the time, as I consider anxiety and depression to be two sides of the same coin. But just as it's hard for me to smile when appropriate, I find it just as hard to cry because there's a drought in my emotions. I'm happy, smile or not, to hear you having fun and playing such delicious music on that girl of yours. I'm lucky to have found your channel.

I wouldn't have made it out to the studio today without your beautiful encouragement! And yes, Audacity, I actually backpacked from Peru to Buenos Aries with the mission of visiting Paraguay and getting myself a little harp. The man I bought it from was lovely. It was an exact replica of one that he had given the Pope. Since I'm not really Catholic, I ended up giving it to a sweet lady in An Daingean because she loved it so very much and I knew I had Rosie waiting for me in my sister's basement. I'm so very happy that I can now play Rosie, Ruby, and the little magical black harp. :)

I’m always blown away when I hear harmonics being played simultaneously with accompaniment. Now that I’m watching you do it, my question is whether there is something in the pedals that assist with the playing of harmonics, because it would seem that if you are just doing it with one hand,you would probably have to stretch pretty far between where you’re plucking, and the precise position on the string to produce the harmonic. As you can tell, I’ve never played a classical harp, which is why I sound so naïve.

Both the tone and the natural tuning of your harp. Remind me of the Paraguayan harp, which I’m not sure if you’ve ever heard before. If not, definitely look some of it up; it’s the first kind of harp. I remember hearing way back when I was a kid.
