GER3 is a nonprofit organization that supports crisis-affected persons globally to build back better following disasters through integrated relief, recovery, and reconstruction services. GER3 clears debris left by a disaster, provides temporary shelter and housing facilities, and immediately starts the reconstruction process with a focus on affected homes, schools, and health facilities. GER3 is committed to using sustainable, culturally appropriate, and community led interventions.

This video highlights GER3’s summer repairs of 80 homes that damaged by Russian attacks on Ukrainian cities.
We worked diligently to repair homes in the summer and early fall months so that families could return to homes fitted with state-of-the-art insulation, roofs, and windows before the harsh Ukrainian winter.

In September 2019, Abaco Island was devastated by Category 5 Hurricane Dorian. One year after the storm, many critical hurricane shelters and vulnerable homes were still in need of repair. GER3's shelter and home rehabilitation project was designed to support hurricane preparedness and resiliency in the Bahamas and was made possible with funding from the Center for Disaster Philanthropy.
