Red Fox Acrylic Painting Process
Переглядів 52Рік тому
This painting was a bit of a phoenix out of the ashes. It was my first time attempting to paint a fox, and it went badly. After days of work, and thousands of brushstrokes to get the fur texture right... I realized the face of the fox was just plain wrong. I tried to fix it, but it only got worse. In the end, I decided to paint over it and start over, with the fox in a completely different pose...
Acrylic Painting on Canvas Board: Clouded Yellow Butterflies
Переглядів 56Рік тому
This painting was a commission, but it was delightful every step of the way. The request was "yellow butterflies with peach flowers and lots of green". This is acrylic paint on canvas board, 20x20 cm. The Clouded Yellow Butterfly (Colias croceus) is one of the most-widespread species in Europe. These butterflies may live in any open area in the countryside, including downland, coastal cliffs an...

Pretty Storage Jar from Ugly Hairgel Tub
This is so cute! I love it!
I really enjoyed this! I have a ton of old phone boxes that I have kept, because the cardboard is so nice and sometimes they have magnets in them. 😀 I think I'll build a case to hold them all, inspired by what you did here. (I've never used texture paste before.)
Amazing transformation.
Thanks!
That's some serious up cycling ❤
Hehe I try my best! Thank you for watching
Completely agree. 😊
you are a master sculptor!!!
Aww, that's very generous, but I only dabble. I do a little bit of everything :)
It's always interesting to watch the drastic transformations you pull off! Nice work and result again.
Glad you enjoyed it!
The final piece is unrecognisable as a simple box for a phone. Upcycling it has given it a beautiful second life.
Thank you! I'm glad it's unrecognisable, that's what I hoped for
It turned out beautiful. I've got some reused boxes that need upgrading. 😉
Thanks! I hope you find a way to upgrade them!
I love how intricate the textures are!
Thanks! I really enjoy building up layers
I absolutely love this! It is not only one of the best things you have made, but is one of the best things in existence. I can't wait to see what you come up with next.
Hehe, that's exremely generous, thank you
Another beautiful masterpiece! Give me the same materials and probably the best I'd do would be a clumsy 7 year old's attempts. 🙃
Thank you! But I don't beleive that second part. I think anyone with an urge to create can make wonderful things happen.
@@dalma_makes You can have the urge, but lack the talent. 😏
I think I'm torn between this and the blue lace one - I might just be biased towards the colours though! ^^
Thank you for "voting"! :) Totally normal for colour preference to carry weight!
Oh boy, you didn't make this easy on us! I can't decide which one is my favourite, but to pick one, I'll chose the blue one, simply because it's my favourite colour. Good job on them all. Looking forward to more of your work. 🙂
Haha, thank you for participating! There's more coming every week
Very beautiful as well.
Thank you!
So pretty! Especially the flowers. 'Directed Randomness' is definitely a thing.
Hehe thanks!
Hahahaha I love the popping sound as you "pop" on the scales ❤❤❤❤
😁 Thank you! Unfortunetly it got out of sync somwhere in the processing.
I really like the random elements you always chose for decorating these jars. It turned out really nice. Still haven't decided yet which one is my favourite. Waiting for the next one.
Awesome! Thank you! I often just open a box of randoms when looking for elements and see if I can find some junk to turn into treasure! :)
This is so cute. This one is my favourite one so far ❤
Aww, thank you!
Another beautiful one! "Directed randomness" is up my alley. 😊
Yay, thank you! Here for a sprinkle of chaos! :)
Can I choose all of them as my favourite or is that cheating?
Hehe, not cheating! :)
You've used it before, but I really like how the lace bits turn out once it's all finished. I really like this one too. It will be hard to chose a favourite. 😉
Thank you! 😊 It's a different kind of lace, but fair. I just think it works very well for textured surfaces
This one turned out really beautiful as well.
Thanks, you're so kind
It definitely made me think of dragon scales. Lots of tiny shields protecting it.
Yeeeey! That was my goal! :)
You are making it hard for me to pick a favourite! Every week I say to myself 'this is the one', then you produce another beautiful one. I shall have to wait for the rest to make my final choice of a favourite.
Yay, thank you! 3 more to come! :)
Another beautiful one. I enjoyed the sounds you used when putting on the sequins. 😊
Thank you! 😊
It really is beautiful ❤️
Aww, thank you! :)
This is awesome. The leaves on top of the blue base work so well!
Thanks! I enjoy putting leaves on all things
Beautiful! I'm waiting to see all of them and then I'll decide which one is my favourite. So far, I like both equally. 😊
Good to hear that! 4 more to come! :)
Another one! This turned out pretty as well.
Thanks!
This is really lovely. I love seeing the layers build up and then looking at the finished piece.
It's all about the layers! 😄
Lovely candle jar. I like the colours and the lace. Can't wait to see the rest of them!
Thanks! The other 5 in the set will follow in the next weeks
Great video. I love how it turned out ❤️
Thank you!
Really pretty. I definitely prefer the look of the jar as you made it. 😊
Thank you! 😊
Fantastical! Very enchanting and lovely. Thanks so much for sharing this fabulous project! 🍄🟫🦋🍄
Aww, thank you so much for the generous words!
Love it!
So glad! :)
Love it! Always admiring your creativity and patience. 😊
Thank you! 😊
I absolutely love this box, it is beyond beautiful. The finished product is so different from the way the box started and every single part of it ties to the theme wonderfully. It is the perfect place to keep little trinkets and precious objects!
Thank you so much!
Really beautiful! The process always boggles my mind as I don't see the outcome as you probably do and I'm watching bewildered at what you are doing.
Thank you! It often goes a little differently then I envision it. But it is satisfying to make an idea from my brain come into physical existence.
❤
Beautiful craftsmanship ❤
Thank you! :)
This is really cool. All the texture additions really add another dimension. And Growlithe would make the best guard dog/friend.
Thanks! I really enjoyed mixing materials on this one. And Growlithe is the goodest boy!
Really cute character and amazing finish!
Thank you! :)
Eeeeeeee so sweet ❤❤❤
Hehehe thanks!
Nice transformation. It turned out really beautiful.
Thank you! 😊
Really pretty. I'll take a shrinking pill and move in. 😊
Awww, that's such a cute idea! I'd have to decorate it nicely inside too
This is so beautiful, I absolutely love it. I really liked seeing how you made the fronds of the mushrooms.
Thanks so much! 😊 I really enjoyed the sculpting part of this project.
Looks really cool with that upgrade. Makes it look a lot more interesting and intriguing. 🥰
Thank you! I think so too
I love this box so much. All the textures and layering of the paints really add up to a beautiful finished piece.
Thank you so much! :)
Welcome back..nice to see you again , hope you are good
Thanks! I'm happy to make videos again
You are the most creative person, that I know.
Awwww, thank you!
