Pasta with Kale, White Beans & Toasted Breadcrumbs
Right, it's not the traditional paella but it's the vegan version ☺🌿 Delicious with saffron of course!
That’s not paella but looks delicious never the less
Aren't they soggy and uncooked in the middle? It seems like cooking the wet artichoke dough for four minutes on each side would just barely warm the center and lightly brown the outside.
No, they are not soggy at all. And it's not really dough. The mixture is very much like traditional crab cakes. We like them with cocktail sauce too if I'm not making the dill sauce.
@@laurasvegantable ok good to know! Thank you!
@@CrystalQuartz wonderful! Enjoy! ❤

Thank you! Glad you liked the video! It is also great on a sandwich if you have any leftover💚
try the grey stuff, it's delicious
It's more of a light brown color, like traditional pâte. Just better because it's made from mushrooms.
@@laurasvegantablenot very Lumiere of you
WTF …..😳
Not really
Yum
Glad you liked it!
I cannot wait to make this, Laura!! Thank you.
Wonderful! So glad you liked it! 😊💚💜💛

Thank you so much Laura, I really really enjoyed watching you create this delicious mushroom pate recipe. I love 🧡 your style and I’ve subscribed and given you a thumbs up too. 🧡🧡🧡
Thank you so much! 💚So glad you liked the recipe! It's really great to bring to parties - which is what I will be doing this holiday season 😊 Hope you enjoy it and thanks for watching!
It’s obvious that it’s plant based 😁 Just an overlooked simple recipe that can be more than just a snack 🥑
Lol plant based guacamole
You had me hooked at garlic! 😄
Haha! Yes, garlic is the best! Thanks Daniel! 😄
Dish is certainly delicious but scallop shells don't grow on trees.
No they don't. You can also use shells you find at the beach!
I had this in Palermo in November. This dish takes me back. Happy, happy memories. Thanks for sharing Laura! P.S Don't worry, I love to cook (used to be a food blogger!) but my knife skills could be better also :P
that's so cool! Glad this dish reminded you of your trip! I need to visit Palermo! ❤💚😍
Disqualified
I might try this as I like the addition of the white wine, however I'd advise soaking the 🌻seeds prior for ease of blending and not least to remove phytic acid. Thank you.
Yes, you are correct! I usually do soak the seeds or nuts; but I didn't here in the video. Hope you enjoy trying out this recipe! 💚
@@laurasvegantable Thank you, I'll let you know. Lol 🌺
I usually leave mean comments... but I like this.
Glad you liked it!
Hi Laura, this sounds delicious. I couldn't find the recipe in decription . Is in the comments for the Short?
Hi Sandie and thank you! 💚Yes, the recipe is showing in the description ⬆ Enjoy!
Yummy 🌱 98
Thank you! It's so good! 😋
Why am I watching this before I've had anything to eat? 😅
Lol - I know 😀 Watching food videos when I'm hungry is so annoying!
Looks delicious 👌🏼
Thank you! It's great over pasta too! 🍝
youre literally grossly anorexic. you need protein.
Nice, can you make carrot butter?
Ooh - never tried that! It would be antioxidant rich for sure! 💚
bad cutting skills
Lol - I'll admit I'm not the best at chopping! Joanna Gaines says the same thing of herself haha :)
promo sm 😔
Awesome!
Thank you! Glad you like this recipe!
You lost me at vegan butter
It tastes just like traditional butter but it's dairy free
Fuckin vegans make disgusting food and act like it’s even half decent😂
Laura! This looks so good! You keep giving us so much inspiration! 😄
Thank you Daniel! 💚💚 Enjoy!😋

Vegan Paella 🍅 ingredients 1 cup orzo (or use 1 cup cooked white rice) 1 tablespoon olive oil 6 - 8 garlic cloves, thinly sliced 8 ounces mushrooms, cleaned and sliced (you can also use frozen, sliced mushrooms) 1/2 cup white wine 2 cups vegetable broth 1 large tomato, cubed 1 cup frozen peas a sprinkle of Old Bay Seasoning sea salt to taste about 1/2 teaspoon saffron threads olives (optional) 1 teaspoon fresh oregano, chopped 1 small lemon sliced Directions Cook orzo or rice according to package instructions. In the meantime, in a large sauté pan over medium-high heat, warm the olive oil. Add the garlic and sauté until softened and slightly browned. Add the sliced mushrooms and saute. Add in the white wine and simmer for about 10 minutes. Add in the vegetable stock and continue to simmer. Add in the tomatoes and the peas. Then add the Old Bay seasoning, sea salt to taste, saffron, and oregano. Add the cooked and drained orzo to the pan (or cooked rice if using). Stir together. Add in the olives and top with the lemon slices for serving.
Vegan bacon? Nah.
The SweetEarth brand is really good!😁😋
VEGAN PASTA CARBONARA Ingredients 1/3 cup raw, unsalted cashews (soaked in a bowl of hot water for 20 minutes; then drained) 1 cup water 1 tablespoon olive oil 4 cloves garlic, minced 8 ounces pasta 2 tablespoons dijon mustard 1/4 teaspoon salt a sprinkle of turmeric 1/3 cup vegan parmesan + more for topping pepper to taste a few slices of vegan bacon (I used Sweet Earth Benevolent Bacon) Directions Cook bacon according to package instructions. Cut a few slices of the bacon or tear into small pieces and set aside. Add the cashews and water to a high speed blender. Blend until smooth and set aside. To a pan on medium to high heat, add the olive oil and garlic. Sauté until the garlic is just starting to brown. Add the cashew cream and dijon mustard to the pan and whisk to combine. Add in the turmeric, salt and pepper and whisk, then turn off the heat. Set a large pot of water on the stove. When boiling, add your pasta and cook according to package instructions. You can add salt to the water if you wish. When the pasta is almost done cooking, reserve 1 to 1 1/2 cups of the pasta water and add to the pan with the cashew cream mixture. Heat the cashew cream sauce on low heat. Blend the pasta water into the cashew cream mixture to thin out the sauce. Add in the grated vegan parmesan, salt and pepper, and stir. When the pasta is finished cooking, drain and add to the pan of sauce. Stir to coat all of the pasta. Add in the bacon pieces, stir to coat, and add more parmesan for serving. Serve hot.
thats not fish stew anymore cuz no fish
Correct - I made a vegan version of the fish stew and have vegan in the title so people know.
These look amazing, and so simple to make! 😍 I love finding new vegan appetizers to serve at parties, and these Cucumber, Ricotta + Sundried Tomato Bites are definitely going on the list. Thanks for sharing this recipe, Laura! 🌱👌
Thank you! I hope you and your guests enjoy them!

The knowledge you share regarding the health benefits of veganism is a boon for those seeking to adopt the lifestyle, and for that, I thank you from the bottom of my heart.
Thank you! I try to share vegan recipes that I love that I think others will enjoy too! 💚
Why vegan
For people who want the traditional flavors of foods they enjoy but making plantbased versions.
Its not a pot roast if it has no roast. And might want to check your ingredients list more thoroughly. Not all of it is vegan.
Roasted mushrooms and the traditional pot roast sauce - substituting mushrooms and lentils for meat. Enjoying flavors of traditional versions of recipes to plantbased.
@@laurasvegantable still doesn't have a roast in it. And worcestershire sauce isn't vegan. It has anchovies in it.
@@yeah.no.one.asked. I mention in the video that I use vegan Worcestershire sauce. Annie’s, Edward & Son and 365 Brand are vegan Worcestershire sauces. Roasted mushrooms and lentils are the vegan substitutes for the meat.
But that is soup not a pot roast the pot roast is a cut of meat
@@Parvilits traditional pot roast is also made as a stew. That's how my family always made it. Everything else I am making here is based off the traditional version. I'm substituting mushrooms and lentils for the meat.
Unfortunately I have some bad news - Worcestershire sauce is fish-based and not vegan
Correct - but I mention in this video that I use VEGAN worcestershire sauce 💚Annies and other brands are vegan!
Looks so good! Why am I watching this while being hungry? 😂
Haha thank you! I know - I always watch food videos when I'm hungry and it's so annoying lol! 😄💚
