This method worked perfectly fine for me. I cleaned the sticker similar to 11:11 but went futher and fully removed the adhesive everywhere. Then I covered the touch areas with pieces of paper to prevent glue being applied to. Next I used Pattex permanent glue spray to apply adhesive. Then I removed the pieces of paper and reapplied the sticker to the panel. At last I applied even pressure with a piece of flat mdf that I had cut to size until the glue had dried. Now all the buttons are working. Thanks for the info!

my grandparents used to have a very old Brandt of this style which they remplaced by a Lincoln washing machine and recently (maybe 2 or 3 years ago) they remplaced it with a Electrolux SteamCare after the Lincoln machine started dying. the best part is that the Lincoln lasted over 40 years.
